ÚVODNÍ SLOVO FOREWORD

Úvodní slovo jsem psala k České taneční platformě již v počátku roku 2020, vše vypadalo krásně: Vstupujeme do dalšího čtvrtstoletí, v době neuvěřitelného boomu české taneční a pohybové scény, série úspěchů našich umělců v zahraničí, upevnění pozice České republiky už nejen jako země s bohatým kulturním dědictvím, ale i progresivním, experimentálním a aktuálním současným uměním.

V roce 2020 je více než kdy předtím citelný nástup nové generace. Originální autorská tvorba, různorodost přístupů, odvaha experimentovat a vybočit mimo mainstream, to vše jsou výzvy, kterým mladé talenty neváhají čelit. Program 26. České taneční platformy o tom vypovídá, nabízí spektrum především sól a duetů, za nimiž jsou silné osobní příběhy, desítky hodin práce na výzkumu témat a kontextů, hledání, pokusů i omylů, což platí o celé třicítce děl, která se letos hlásila na platformu.

A tady se zarazím. Nouzový stav vyhlášený v březnu 2020 zastavil veškeré přípravy.

Optimistický přesun na listopad vypadal nadějně až do října, vše bylo znova dojednáno.

Ale nastal nový lockdown, nová nejistota. Nyní už je jasné, že musíme jít jinou cestou.

Online prostředí tanci moc nesvědčí, nikdy nenahradí živý zážitek z umění. Ovšem tu energii vloženou do příprav nehodláme jen tak zahodit, ať už jde o tým či umělce samotné.

Dramaturgická rada měla nelehký úkol, prakticky u žádného díla nepanovala shoda. Její zúžený výběr sedmi děl mohl zklamat některá očekávání, ale dalším umělcům nabídla prostor v doprovodném programu…

26. ročník České taneční platformy otevře svou online bránu 25. 11. 2020 a všechno bude jinak! Předtočené rozhovory s ukázkami z vybraných představení, Q & A s umělci, poté se zahraničními novináři, a nakonec širší mezinárodní odbornou veřejností. Z toho může nejširší veřejnost sledovat vše podstatné, a to i v česky otitulkované verzi, na webu a sociálních sítích.

I wrote a foreword about the Czech Dance Platform at the beginning of 2020, everything looked beautiful: As we enter the next quarter century the Czech dance and movement scene is booming, our artists are enjoying a series of successes abroad, and the Czech Republic's position not only as a country with a rich cultural heritage but as a place for progressive, experimental and contemporary art is strengthening.

In 2020, the arrival of a new generation is more noticeable than ever before. Original auteur work, a variety of approaches, the courage to experiment and diverge from the mainstream: these are all challenges that young talents do not hesitate to face. The program of the 26th Czech Dance Platform testifies to this, offering a range of solos and duets backed by powerful personal stories, dozens of hours of work researching topics and contexts, seeking, trial and error, which applies to the 30 works that have applied to this year's platform.

The dramaturgical jury had a difficult task, hardly finding any agreement. The narrow selection of seven works may have disappointed some people's expectations, but space was offered to other artists in the accompanying program‌ And here I stop. The state of emergency declared in March 2020 put an end to all preparations. The optimistic move to November looked promising, until October, when everything was again renegotiated. But there was a new lockdown, a new uncertainty. It is now clear that we must take a different path. The online environment is not particularly good for dance, it will never replace a live art experience. But we have no intention of simply throwing out the energy that was invested in the preparations, whether by the team or the artists themselves.

The 26th year of the Czech Dance Platform will open its online gates on 25 November 2020, and everything will be different! Pre-recorded interviews with excerpts from selected performances, Q&As with artists, then with foreign journalists, and finally with the wider international professional public. Everything will be made available for streaming, even in Czech subtitled versions, on the web and social networks.

Dílo doporučili i mladí kritici v rámci projektu Be SpectACTive.

LAVABO je pohybová inscenace s prvky nového cirkusu. Inscenace je výzkumem fyzického i duševního očištění, přechodovým prožitím vlastního těla a těch okamžiků, kdy se ocitáme jen sami se sebou. Kde končí lidské tělo a začíná mysl?

Obličej je jediná část těla, kterou na sobě nikdy neuvidíme. To, co z něj můžeme vidět, je vždy jen jeho reprodukce nebo jeho obraz.

The performance was recommended by young critics in the framework of Be SpectACTive project.

LAVABO is a movement production with elements of a new circus. The production is a study of physical and mental purification, the transient experience of one's body and those moments when we find ourselves only when we are alone. Where does the human body end and the mind begin?

The face is the only part of our body that we never see. When we do, it is always only a reproduction or reflection.

Jana Stárková is currently completing a Master's program in Dramaturgy at the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre under the guidance of Jiří Havelka. In addition to movement and dance theatre, she also engages in interventions in public space and experimental performances (e.g. The Dog Project). One of her latest projects is the dance film Oměj, which deals with communication between people and the city. Together with Ondřej Menoušek she is a member of the Špatné divadlo (Bad Theatre) group.

Jana Stárková dokončuje v tuto chvíli magisterský program Dramaturgie na Katedře alternativního a loutkového divadla (KALD) pod vedením Jiřího Havelky. Kromě pohybového a tanečního divadla se věnuje zásahům do veřejného prostoru a experimentálním performance (např. The Dog Project).

Mezi jeden z jejích posledních projektů patří taneční film Oměj, který se zabývá komunikací člověka a města. Spolu s Ondrou Menouškem je členkou skupiny Špatné divadlo.

Lukas Blaha je herec, tanečník, žonglér a jeden ze zakládajících členů novocirkusového uskupení Cink Cink Cirk. Na české scéně spolupracoval se skupinami jako jsou Tantehorse nebo Spitfire Company. Ve své práci rozvíjí žonglování a objektovou manipulaci a její synkrezi s pohybem, tancem a divadlem. Během svých studíi na HAMU absolvoval stáže na Die Etage v Berlíně a na Institut del Teatre v Barceloně. S režisérkou Janou Stárkovou spolupracovali na projektu Dó (premiéra 24. 5. 2018).

Lukas Blaha is an actor, dancer, juggler and one of the founding members of new circus group Cink Cink Cirk. On the Czech scene he has worked with groups such as Tantehorse and Spitfire Company. In his work he develops juggling and object manipulation and its synthesis with movement, dance and theatre. While a student at the Music and Dance Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (HAMU) he completed internships at Die Etage in Berlin and at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona. He and director Jana Stárková collaborated on the Dó project, which premiered on 24 May 2018.

Ondřej Menoušek is a scenographer and performer studying at the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre at the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (DAMU) since 2016. During his studies he created projects on the border of object and puppet theatre, e.g. Thank you спаси́бо – a post-apocalyptic performance with objects or the tale of Hansel and Gretel. Among other things, he also created the stage design for a student production of Sea of Peace at the Disk Theatre. He is currently engaged in the development of a spiritual movement activity called selfie chi.

Ondřej Menoušek je scénograf a performer studující od roku 2016 na KALD na DAMU. V rámci studia vytvořil projekty na pomezí objektového a loutkového divadla, např. Thank you спаси́бо - postapokalyptické představení s objekty, nebo pohádku Jeníček a Mařenka. Mimo jiné také připravil scénografii k absolventské inscenaci Moře klidu v divadle Disk. V současnosti se věnuje rozvoji duchovně-pohybové aktivity s názvem selfie chi.

Zvláštní uznání mezinárodní jury České taneční platformy 2019 a ocenění Tereze Ondrové za nejlepší taneční výkon.

Divadelní režisérka Petra Tejnorová se ocitá na jevišti spolu s přední českou tvůrčí taneční osobností Terezou Ondrovou. Jejich společný zájem o hledání hranic jemného humoru, ironie či absurdity při vší úctě ke spletitosti lidských vztahů podtrhuje režijněchoreografické vedení Karine Ponties. Ve stylu grotesek Laurela a Hardyho nás přes veškerou odlehčenost formy dokážou dojmout svou hloubkou a upřímností.

Karine Ponties je Francouzka působící v Belgii již od svých studií na slavné škole Mudra, ale pro mnoho českých umělců je také po léta inspirativní múzou a mentorkou u nás. Vedení Tance Praha zaujala už koncem 90. let, kdy poprvé představila své prvotiny pro vlastní soubor Dame de Pic, který založila roku 1996.

Spolupracovala s mnoha místními umělci, např. Jaro Viňarský a Pierre Nadaud.

Karine Ponties is Frenchwoman living in Belgium since her days studying at the famous Mudra School, but for many Czech artists she has been an inspiring muse and mentor for years. She impressed the head of Tanec Praha already in the late 1990s, when she introduced her first piece Dame de Pic with her own ensemble, which she founded in 1996. She has cooperated with local artists such as Jaro Viňarský and Pierre Nadaud.

Tereza Ondrová tanečnice, pedagožka, choreografka, absolventka pražské HAMU. Jako osobitou interpretku ji ke spolupráci zvaly a zvou nejvýznamnější osobnosti a soubory v ČR – Jan Kodet, DOT 504, Mirka Eliášová, Peter Mika, Věra Ondrašíková aj. Stala se jednou ze zakladatelek souboru VerTeDance. Na České taneční platformě získali VerTeDance ocenění Taneční inscenace roku již třikrát (2005: Tichomluva, 2012: Kolik váží vaše touha?, 2014: KOREKCE) a v neposlední řadě byla Tereza Ondrová oceněna i jako Tanečnice roku 2010, na což navázalo loňské uznání mezinárodní jury.

Tereza Ondrová in 2006 she graduated at Department of Dance of Music Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. As a performer, she cooperated with Jan Kodet, DOT 504, Mirka Eliášová, Peter Mika, Věra Ondrašíková and others. She is a founder of a dance ensemble VerTeDance; three works were awarded by the most prestigious award in the field of Czech contemporary dance: Dance Piece of the Year Prize (2005, 2012 and 2014). In 2010, she was awarded „Dancer of the Year“ Prize followed by an award from the international jury in 2019.

Petra Tejnorová vytvořila několik úspěšných inscenací již během studia DAMU. V roce 2008 byla nominována na Cenu Alfréda Radoka v kategorii Talent. Dlouhodobě se věnuje dokumentárnímu divadlu, fyzickému a autorskému divadlu, divadelním sondám do různých společenských a sociálních vrstev. V posledních projektech (NEVINA, NICK) se zaměřila na žánr live cinema, spojení divadla a filmu. Jako autorka a režisérka spolupracovala s významnými divadly v Čechách. Autorské inscenace Petry Tejnorové získaly ocenění nejen v Čechách, ale i v zahraničí. Natočila dva krátké filmy (Kniha o plánu – vítězný snímek kategorie VLNY – Ostrava Picture 2013, cena za nejlepší kameru – Mezinárodní kameramanský filmový festival Kamera Oko). Její poslední dokumentární film „Haló, je tam někdo?“ vznikl společně s choreografkou Terezou Ondrovou a měl premiéru v rámci TANCE PRAHA 2017. Působí taktéž jako pedagog KALD DAMU.

Petra Tejnorová created several successful productions during her studies at DAMU. In 2008 she was nominated for the Alfréd Radok Award in the Talent category. She has long focused on documentary theatre, physical and auteur theatre, theatre research into various social and class levels. In her latest projects (NEVINA, NICK) she has focused on the live cinema genre, which brings together theatre and film. Tejnorová's original works have been awarded not only in the Czech Republic, but also abroad. She has made two successful short films “The Book about a Plan” and with Tereza Ondrova “Hallo? Is anyone out there?”. She is also a teacher at the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre at DAMU in Prague.

Spitfire Company / Miřenka Čechová & Markéta Vacovská: Constellations III. My Son Looking to the Sun ,,Už jenom nějaký Bůh nás může zachránit,” řekl před svou smrtí jeden filozof, aniž by dodal, jak ten zachraňující Bůh bude vypadat. Bude ženského rodu, nebo mužského?

Bude ošklivý, krásný nebo bez rysů? Přijde a na tváři bude mít dětský úsměv? Nebo se zjeví v podobě katastrofy, ničivé tsunami? Bude hlásat odvážné teze, šeptat nebo bude mlčet? A chce vůbec člověk, aby byl zachráněn? A od čeho nebo od koho? Od sebe sama? Je vůbec záchrana možná bez nového zrození? A jak by mělo takové nové zrození vypadat? Bude nutná rituální oběť?

“Only some God can save us,” said one philosopher before his death without adding what that savior God would look like. Will the God be male or female? Will he or she be ugly, beautiful or without features? Will he or she come and have a baby smile on his face? Or will he or she appear in the form of a disaster, a devastating tsunami? Will he or she boldly prophecy, whisper or be silent? And does one even want to be saved? And from what or from whom? From oneself? Is salvation possible at all without a rebirth?

And what should such a rebirth look like? Will a ritual sacrifice be required?

Petr Boháč je režisér a scénograf. Spolu s Miřenkou Čechovou zakladatel skupiny Spitfire Company. Kromě režisérské tvorby je dramaturgem divadla Palác Akropolis a uměleckým šéfem mezinárodního festivalu Nultý bod.

Markéta Vacovská is a performer and choreographer. Graduated from the Academy of Music Arts in Prague. She cooperates on projects with the Spitfire Company. For One Step Before the Fall she was awarded at Czech Dance Platform and by Divadelní noviny (Theatre newspaper).

Never Sol je producentka, skladatelka a zpěvačka. Vydala alba Chamaleo (2018) a Under Quiet (2013). Účastnila se prestižní Red Bull Music Academy v Tokiu, absolvovala letní kurz hudební produkce na Columbia University New York a působí také v live bandu elektronického producenta Floexe.

Markéta Vacovská je performerka a choreografka. Absolvovala Akademii múzických umění v Praze. Spolupracuje se Spitfire Company; za představení One Step Before the Fall získala ocenění na festivalu Česká taneční platforma a Cenu Divadelních novin.

Never Sol is a producer, songwriter and singer. She released the album Chamaleo (2018) and Under Quiet (2013). She attended the prestigious Red Bull Music Academy in Tokyo, attended a summer course in music production at Columbia University New York, and is a member of the live band of electronic producer Floex.

Ondřej Holba: And Who Is Useless Now?

And Who Is Useless Now? je autorské divadelní představení o člověku, čtyřech robotech, jedné lehce elitářské umělé inteligenci a předávání zodpovědnosti technologiím.

Zatímco se U. I. Wendy snaží být skrze umění přijata lidmi jako myslící bytost, Florent, který s ní sdílí jeviště, o svém lidském myšlení začíná pochybovat. Kolik svobody a lidskosti jsme připraveni obětovat pro své pohodlí?

And Who Is Useless Now? is an original theater performance about a man, four robots, one slightly elitist artificial intelligence, and the transfer of responsibility to technologies.

While Wendy the A.I. is trying to use art to win humans' acceptance as a thinking being, Florent who shares the stage with her is beginning to doubt his human mind. How much freedom and human qualities are we willing to sacrifice for comfort?

Ondřej Holba je režisér, herec, žonglér, klaun a lektor. Specializuje se na autorské pohybové divadlo, nový cirkus a výuku cirkusových technik. Dlouhodobě spolupracuje s finskou režisérkou a klaunkou Herne Väätäinen (projekty Still life, And Who Is Useless Now?, festival MimeFest).

V současnosti prozkoumává možnosti využití robotiky a umělé inteligence a jejich uplatnění v divadle. Inspiraci ke své tvorbě hledá ve výtvarném umění, hudbě a práci se světlem. Usiluje o vyrovnané propojení těchto oborů s divadlem. Ondřej Holba is a director, actor, juggler, clown, teacher. Ondřej specializes in original physical theater, contemporary circus and the teaching of circus techniques. On a long-term basis, he cooperates with Finnish director and clown Herne Väätäinen (Still Life, And Who Is Useless now?, MimeFest festival).

Currently, he is exploring the use of robotics and artificial intelligence and their applications in theater.

His artistic work is inspired by fine art, music and light design. He strives to connect these fields with theater on an equal basis. His work has been substantially influenced by Roberto Magro (IT), Taina Mäki-Iso (FI), Florent Bergal (IT), Nola Rae (UK), Sumako Koseki (JP), James Donlon (US) and Eric Davis (US).

Florent Golfier je tanečník, performer a choreograf narozený ve Francii, v současnosti působící v České republice. Studoval činohru v Nancy a následně v ateliéru Klaunské, scénické a filmové tvorby na brněnské JAMU. Spolu s Lukášem Karáskem, Marií Gourdain a Zuzanou Režnou založili kolektiv fyzického divadla tYhle, v němž jako performer a choreograf vytvořil devět představení. Spolupracoval s choreografy jako Karine Ponties, Kitt Johnson,Vít Neznal, Linda a Mathias Straub a Ondřej Holba. Jako umělec se soustředí na křehkost, kterou máme každý v sobě a ze které čerpáme inspiraci, upřímnost a sílu.

Jeho poslední projekt Babylonská trilogie pokračuje sérií pohybově-lingvistických laboratoří, která vzniká ve spolupráci s česko-německou psycholingvistkou Barbarou Mertins Ph.D. Florent Golfier is a French dancer, performer and choreographer based in the Czech Republic.

He studied acting in Nancy and dance, clown and physical theatre at the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno. Together with Lukáš Karásek, Marie Gourdain and Zuzana Režná, he founded the physical theatre collective tYhle, he has co-created nine performances as a choreographer or performer. He has worked with choreographers such as Karine Ponties, Kitt Johnson, Vít Nezval, Linda and Mathias Straub and Ondřej Holba. As an artist, he aims to connect with the fragility we all share, and from which we draw inspiration, honesty and power, and help others to accept it as a precious part of ourselves. His newest project Babel trilogy continues with a series of linguistic and movement laboratories that he organizes together with the Czech-German Psycholinguist Prof. Dr. Barbara Mertins.

Temporary Collective / Tereza Ondrová & Petra Tejnorová a kol. and coll.: DUETY DUETS

Jak už samotný název inscenace napovídá, ano, půjde o duety, tedy dvě těla dva lidé jako minimum pro vznik společenství. Ve věku rostoucí digitalizace, kdy se prohlubuje individualismus a osamělost, se tvůrci rozhodli zkoumat možnosti, jak se setkat, jak spolu komunikovat beze slov. Jak být spolu, když pocházíme z velmi odlišného prostředí a kontextu? Co v dnešní době znamená porozumět si? Společně s tanečníky a performery se v divadle PONEC totiž setkávají i lidé, kteří na jevišti nikdy předtím nestáli. Inscenace vznikala netradiční formou workshopů – kdy se performeři a tanečníci Tereza Ondrová, Viktor Černický, Petra Hauerová a Sai poprvé potkali s osobou, kterou před workshopem neznali. Setkání probíhala na základě jednoduchého skriptu, pomocí jednoduchých instrukcí. Setkání mezi dvěma cizími lidmi, které se zaměřovalo na vzájemnou pozornost a přítomné tělo. Výsledné psaní pohybů je založené na jednoduchosti a minimalismu, ale také na náhodě, co mezi danými lidmi ten večer vznikne. Je to portrétování lidí a jejich vztahů, které bude probíhat přímo před vašima očima.

As the name itself suggests, the performance will consist of duets, i.e. two bodies, two people as a minimum for the establishment of a community. In an age of individualism and loneliness, the creators decided to explore ways to meet, to communicate without words.

How to be together when we come from a very different environment and context? What does it mean to understand one another nowadays? Together with dancers and performers, people who have never been on stage before meet in the PONEC Theatre. Duets arose in an unconventional form through workshops in which performers and dancers Tereza Ondrová, Viktor Černický and Sai first met a person they did not know before the workshop. The meetings were based on a simple script. The participants of the workshop were both actors and witnesses of these meetings. Each duet also examined our ideas and prejudices, as well as our ability to perceive closeness and sympathy. The meeting between two strangers focused on mutual attention and the present body. The performance of duets is based on minimalism, the resulting writing of movement on simplicity, but also on the coincidence that will arise among those people that evening. It is a portrait of people and their relationships happening directly in front of your eyes.

Michal Záhora: GENERACE X GENERATION X

Taneční sólo vyjadřující pocity generace, jejíž dětství zformoval přelom dvou epoch.

Dětství poznamenané společností přijatými restrikcemi a vzápětí jejich náhlým uvolněním. Rozbušená srdce a slyšitelný tep vlastní krve. Dospěl člověk, který ví, co chce, a ví, co nechce. Ale jeho kroky neurčuje pouze jeho vůle. Studená válka ještě neskončila. Žijeme v jejím stínu. Stále žijeme ve vyhrocených pozicích, ve kterých se snažíme o základní lidskou slušnost. Ke štěstí nám pomáhej Bůh. Vyhrává aktivní a ten, kdo se nebojí ukázat směr ostatním.

40 let od narození, 30 let od převratu. Reflexe vlastního života na pozadí velké společenské změny. Taneční představení vychází z životní zkušenosti a světonázoru 20 významných osobností narozených v letech 1979-1980, které se v české společnosti úspěšně profilují v nejrůznějších oborech jako umění, věda a politika.

A childhood marked by restrictions first accepted by the society and later loosened. Beating hearts, pulse of one’s own blood that can be heard. A man/woman has matured, one that knows what he/she wants and doesn’t want. His/her steps are not guided by his/her will. The Cold War is not over yet. We live in its shadow. We live in escalated positions in which we strive for a basic human politeness. God help us. Only the active one and the one who isn’t afraid to show the direction to others can win.

40 years since birth, 30 years since the revolution – a reflection of one’s own life on the background of a big social change. The performance is based on life experience and worldview of 20 significant individuals born between 1979-1980 who are successful in the Czech society in the fields such as art, science and politics.

Michal Záhora absolvoval Konzervatoř Duncan centre (2003). Získal angažmá v norském národním souboru Carte Blanche, v taneční skupině choreografa Roberta Zappaly v Itálii (2004-2005) a ve Scottish Dance Theatre (2006-2008).

Spolupracoval s mnoha zahraničními a českými soubory i choreografy. Své vlastní choreografické tvorbě se věnoval zejména jako člen souboru NANOHACH (2005-2016). Za svoji choreografickou a interpretační práci byl nominován na nejrůznější ceny ve svém oboru: Cena Thálie, Cena SAZKY za objev v tanci, výroční ceny Opera Plus. Zabývá se také uměleckým vzděláváním a pedagogické praxi doma i zahraničí. V letech 2009-2013 byl ředitelem Konzervatoře Duncan centre, kde byl také několik let pedagogem.

Michal Záhora graduated from the Duncan Centre Conservatory in Prague (2003). Later on, he was a member of the Norwegian National Company Carte Blanche, a member of Robert Zappala Company in Italy (2004-2005) and Scottish Dance Theatre (2006-2008). As a dancer, he gained experience by working with several Czech as well as international companies and choreographers. He focuses on his own choreographies that he did for example for the NANOHACH company (2005-2016). He was awarded several awards in this field: SAZKA award for new talent in dance, Thalia award and Opera Plus. He is also involved in a systematic artistic education and pedagogy in the Czech Republic and abroad. He served as director at the Duncan Centre Conservatory from 2009 to 2013.

Helena Arenbergerová vystudovala historii na Filosofické fakultě Univerzity Karlovy. Jako tanečnice na volné noze spolupracovala s předními tanečníky a soubory, režiséry i hudebníky české i zahraniční scény. Získala ocenění Tanečnice roku 2017 a 2008 udílené mezinárodní porotou České taneční platformy, tamtéž Cenu za interpretaci v roce 2000. Byla nominována na Cenu Thálie v roce 2008.

Vede taneční lekce a workshopy jak pro profesionály, tak pro širokou veřejnost.

Doposud působila v Česku, USA, Rakousku a na Slovensku.

Helena Arenbergerová studied history at the Faculty of Philosophy of Charles University. As a freelance dancer she collaborated with leading dancers and companies, directors and musicians on the Czech and international scenes. She was awarded Dancer of the Year in 2017 and 2008 by the international jury at the Czech Dance Platform and the 2000 Award for Performance. She was nominated for the Thalia Award in 2008. She leads dance lessons and workshops for professionals and future professionals as well as for the general public. She has worked in the Czech Republic, the USA, Austria and Slovakia.

Dvě performerky balancují na hranici mezi zábavou a zvrhlostí, přecházejí od manipulace diváka k sebe manipulaci a oscilují mezi rolemi vůdců a obětí. Inspirovaná médii, populismem a jejich manipulativními silami je Jáma lvová elektrizující duet s vyhroceným emočním nábojem a vysokou intenzitou, vytvářející prostor pro vlastní interpretaci a zaujetí osobního postoje.

Two performers balance on the borders between entertainment and perversity. They travel from manipulating the audience to self manipulation, oscillating between the roles of leaders and victims. Inspired by media, populism and their manipulative powers, Lion’s Den is an electrifying duet with strong emotional charge and high intensity, creating space for own interpretation and personal approaches.

Johana Pocková vystudovala taneční konzervatoř Duncan Centre v Praze, absolvovala půlroční stáž na Peridance Capezio Centre v New Yorku a dva roky na taneční akademii SEAD (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance). Nyní se věnuje autorské choreografické tvorbě, v roce 2017 získala Cenu Jarmily Jeřábkové za choreografii VRAŽDA! Malá komiksová historie. V posledních letech také uvedla choreografie Proč ne teď?, Na Váhu! a mezigenerační skupinové představení Plné sklady citů. V roce 2019 založila taneční spolek POCKetART. Jako performerka spolupracuje se skupinou Tantehorse a Cirkem La Putyka, je lektorkou jógy a věnuje se divadelní produkci.

Johana Pocková studied at Duncan Centre Conservatory, half a year at Peridance Capezio Center in New York and two years at SEAD (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance). After her studies she got Jarmila Jeřábková Award 2017 for her choreography MURDER! A Little Comics History at a choreographic competition New Europe. She created several performances such as Why Not Now?, Onto the Scale! and Full Store of Emotions. In 2019 she founded a company POCKetART. As a performer she collaborates with Tantehorse company and Cirk La Putyka, is a yoga teacher and theatre producer.

Sabina Bočková vystudovala Taneční centrum Praha, byla členkou Baletu Jihočeského divadla a sólistkou Pražského komorního baletu. Od roku 2017 působí na nezávislé taneční scéně. Jako interpretka je součástí projektů n o m a d – Alica Minar a kol., spolupracuje se skupinami Tantehorse – Vivisectic, !O! - Family Therapy, tYhle – LEGOrytmus, Meduza (ČTP 2019) ad. Je členkou spolku POCKetART (Plné sklady citů). S Johanou Pockovou stojí za inscenací Jáma lvová a jako tvůrkyně spolupracuje s Tomášem Janypkou na představení Song lines. Zároveň je studentkou Fakulty humanitních studií UK. Sabina Bočková studied classical ballet and modern dance at Dance Center Prague. She was a member of South Bohemian Ballet and a soloist of Prague Chamber Ballet. Since 2017 she has established herself on Czech independent dance scene. As an interpreter she is part of a nomad project with Alica Minar and coll., cooperates with Tantehorse – !O!-Family Therapy, Vivisectic and tYhle – LEGOrhythm, Medusa (Czech Dance Platform 2019). Cécile Da Costa is a Prague-based singer, performer and choreographer of French-Portuguese origin.

She has performed in performances of Farm in the Cave company, of which she had been a member for five years, and now she has been cooperating for several years with Spitfire Company. She leads physical theatre workshops in the Czech Republic, France, Poland or Greece. In her work she seeks "voices that can move the body and bodies that can move the voice". For her solo performance The Narrator, directed by Petr Boháč, won the Dancer of the Year 2018 award or the nomination for "Total Physical award" at Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2017. Roselyne is her first author work.

Cécile Da Costa je v Praze žijící zpěvačka, performerka a choreografka francouzsko-portugalského původu. Vystupovala v představeních divadla Farma v jeskyni, jehož byla pět let členkou. Nyní působí již několik let jako performerka a choreografka Spitfire Company. V Čechách, Francii, Polsku nebo Řecku vede workshopy fyzického divadla. Ve své práci hledá „hlasy, které mohou pohybovat tělem a těla, která mohou pohybovat hlasem“. Za své sólové představení Vypravěč v režii Petra Boháče získala ocenění Tanečnice roku 2018 nebo nominaci Total Physical awards na Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2017.

V tomto multižánrovém představení oscilují tělo a hlas mezi bojem a křehkostí. Roselyne je její první autorskou inscenací.

Viktor Černický: PLI

Inscenace PLI získala v roce 2019 Hlavní cenu České taneční platformy a Cenu diváků a byla pozvána na Aerowaves Spring Forward 2020 v Rijece.

22 konferenčních židlí, obsesivní rytmus a jeden odhodlaný muž. Představení, které se pohybuje na pomezí instalace, performance, tance a cirkusu, zábavnou formou ukazuje, že i předměty každodenního života lze proměnit v neuvěřitelné kousky architektury.

PLI navazuje na barokní filosofii Gottfrieda Wilhelma Leibnize, robustnost a okázalost tehdejší doby však nahrazuje jednoduchostí a minimalismem scénického provedení.

PLI won the Main Award and the Audiences Award at the Czech Dance Platform in 2019 and was invited to the Aerowaves Spring Forward 2020 in Rijeka.

Twenty-two conference chairs, obsessive rhythm and one determined man. A production that moves between installation, performance, dance and circus in an entertaining way shows that even objects of everyday life can be transformed into incredible pieces of architecture. PLI follows the Baroque philosophy of Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, but the robustness and ostentatiousness of the time is replaced by the simplicity and minimalism of the scenic design.

Viktor Černický absolvoval na ateliéru Fyzického divadla na JAMU v Brně. Jeho práce, často vystavěné z hledání vztahu mezi subjektivním tělem performera a objektu, se vyvíjejí do hraničních forem na pomezí tance, fyzického divadla, současné klaunérie a cirkusu.

Jako performer spolupracoval např. s Jarem Viňarským, Dominiquem Boivinem, Danielem Gulkem, Miřenkou Čechovou nebo Cie Mossoux - Bonté. Se svým sólovým představením PAROLAPOLEA získal na České taneční platformě 2017 nominaci v kategoriích Tanečník roku a Taneční Inscenace roku a speciální ocenění mu bylo uděleno v podobě účasti na Choreographic Research Week v Bassanu del Grappa.

Viktor Černický graduated at Physical Theatre Department at JAMU in Brno. Projekt Be SpectACTive! nabízí nové cesty k zapojení diváků do dění kolem divadla. Na projekt Divácké poroty jsme již v roce 2019 navázali setkáváním s další diváckou skupinou, mladými kritiky, kteří se do tance snaží proniknout a porozumět mu. Od podzimu 2019 do února 2020 proběhlo několik jejich setkání s experty z taneční oblasti, kteří se jim snažili tuto oblast více přiblížit.

Mladí kritici měli možnost zhlédnout přihlášená díla živě nebo na videu a hlasovat o 3 dílech, která by podle nich neměla na platformě chybět: - Lavabo kolektivu Lukáš Blaha, Jana Stárková a Ondřej Menoušek, - Jáma lvová Sabiny Bočkové a Johany Pockové, - Roselyne, autorský projekt Cécile Da Costy.

Všechna 3 díla byla také vybraná odbornou Dramaturgickou radou.

Be SpecACTive! 2 je pokračováním úspěšného projektu, do kterého byl Tanec Praha z.ú. zapojen již pro roky 2014-2018. Jedná se o network patnácti evropských kulturních organizací a tří výzkumných institucí, který je podpořen programem Kreativní Evropa 2018-2022.

Be SpectACTive! 2 Project Be SpectACTive! offers new ways to engage viewers in events around theatre.

We decided to follow up on the Audience Jury project this time by meeting with another audience group, young critics, who are still trying to come to grips with dance.

From autumn 2019 to February 2020 several meetings were held with experts from the dance field, who discussed the topic with them and tried to make it more accessible.

The young critics had the chance to watch all entered pieces live or on video and to vote for three pieces they believe should be included in the platform: - Lavabo by Lukáš Blaha, Jana Stárková a Ondřej Menoušek, - The Lion’s Den by Sabina Bočková and Johana Pocková, - Roselyne by Cécile Da Costa.

They were also selected by the expert dramaturgical jury.

Be SpectACTive! 2 is the continuation of a successful project in which Tanec Praha has already been involved in 2014-2018. It is a network of 15 European cultural organizations and three research institutions supported by the Creative Europe program for 2018-2022.

FESTIVALOVÝ TÝM FESTIVAL TEAM Pořadatelem festivalu je Tanec Praha z.ú., jedna z prvních nezávislých nestátních neziskových organizací v České republice. Bezmála 30 let podporujeme dialog mezi českou a zahraniční scénou současného tance a pohybového divadla. Mezi naše hlavní aktivity patří: Mezinárodní festival současného tance a pohybového divadla TANEC PRAHA, festival Česká taneční platforma, PONEC – divadlo pro tanec, projekty Tanec dětem a Tanec školám a další projekty zaměřené na mezinárodní spolupráci a networking.

The festival is organized by Tanec Praha, one of the first independent non-profit NGOs in the Czech Republic.

For almost 30 years we have been supporting dialogue between the Czech and international contemporary dance scene. Our main activities are: the TANEC PRAHA International Festival of Contemporary Dance and Movement Theatre, the Czech Dance Platform, PONEC – dance venue, Dance for Children, Dance to Schools and many other projects focused on international cooperation and networking.
