2340 Rock the Classics

Presented by

A night of retro eighties fun, all in one mixtape!

MUSICAL DIRECTOR Tim Godden RESIDENT VOCALISTS Kate Armstrong & Brad Gill

O

ne of music’s most iconic eras comes alive in this sensational night that ‘presses the rewind button on the walkman’. The 2340 Big Band and vocalists will pay homage to the rock, pop and new romantic artists that had you screaming in front of a television set as you watched MTV and Countdown. You’ll have ‘the time of your life’ and be ‘walking on sunshine’ when you leave your ‘love shack’ and get ‘footloose’ and experience this love letter to the 80’s. We are sure you’ll recognise every song and probably know most of the words! Enjoy every guitar solo and riff, along with some authentic synth sounds of the era.

See page 73 for details

Come along and be transported back to the 80’s by the 2340 Big Band and vocalists Kate Armstrong and Brad Gill as well as a variety of talented, local guest singers.
