23rd Annual Tallgrass Film Festival Program

WELCOME TO THE 23RD ANNUAL TALLGRASS FILM FESTIVAL!

If we haven’t had the chance to meet, my name is Sierra Franklin-Morton, and I have the privilege of serving as the Interim Executive Director of the Tallgrass Film Association. As a proud Wichitan, it is an honor to welcome you to my hometown and to this year’s Tallgrass Film Festival.

Much has changed since we last gathered to celebrate independent film, but one thing remains constant: the resilience and vibrancy of our arts community. This festival is a testament to that spirit, and I am thrilled you’re here to share in it.

Over the next few days, I invite you to explore our city, connect with fellow film lovers, and immerse yourself in the incredible stories our filmmakers have brought to life. May this festival be a chance to recharge, to be inspired, and to celebrate the joy of cinema together.

Thank you for joining us, and as always, remain Stubbornly Independent.
