All TAKEX photoelectric beams are distiguished with the utilization of “Double Modulation ” technology that provides exceptional resistance to foreign IR light sources or flourescent light sources that can "fool" other brands of photo beams allowing potential circumvention. Hand held infrared remote controls can sometimes be used to defeat the detection of conventional photoelectric beam technology, but not TAKEX double modulated photoelectric beams. Additionally, all TAKEX photoelectric beams offer 50,000 lux of external light rejection, compared to approx. 10,000 lux resistance by other brands, reducing potential false alarms due to intense light such as vehicle headlights or sunlight.
