Spray Control Safety Tape
Protection against Spray Outs in process & pharma industry
Saving You........
Spray Control Tape it Protects directly.
T-ISS designs and manufactures flange safety spray tapes to inhibit dangerous leaks of hazardous high-temperature materials. As a ISO 9001 approved company we are in the fields of safety tapes since 2003, our worldfamous site www.solastape.com shows some of worlds finest Marinetapes. The Spray Control tape is the solution for Onshore plants it helps to reduce damage to process equipment and injuries to operators & maintenance crew. Inspection costs, repairs, and resulting downtime, are also reduced due to leak containment through the use of our shields. The Spray Control tape is made for many years of service on flanges, valves, expansion joints and screw-pipe fittings in chemical plants, petrochemical refineries, paper mills, food processing plants, electronic plants, steel mills, cosmetic and perfume plants, pharmaceutical plants, power generating plants, mining operations and on fuel stream lines on marine vessels.
Our Spray Control tape is the best alternative compared with common Spray Shields as shown below:
NaOH
Shield
Valve Shield
Tefl. Spray Shield
Metal shield
The advantage of Spray Control Tape is that is more economical, it always fitts, it does not have to be specially ordered and manufactured according the situation. Just wrap the equipment & Job is done. Spray Control protection tape is made of triple layer reinforced Vinyl. The UV stabilized colored material is resistant to sun, rain, and fumes. The material is excellent resistant to most chemicals and to temperatures up to approx. 75 Celsius. In the overview on last page in this catalogue you can view if the Spray Control tape can be used on your equipment & piping systems. As an operator of processinstallations it is stipulated by Law that you have to make sure your factory is a safe environment. Following regulations stipulate these equipment to be installed: EUTD guideline prevention of safe working conditions. ISO14000 Regulation for clean environments. OSHA Guidelines to Maintaining Safety in Hazardous Chemical Environments. OSHA Standards Vol. 39 No. 125 6-27-74. U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970.

Installation instructions
Spray Control Tape helps to protect: Against eruption of agressive liquids from flanges & connection. The safety of staff & maintenance persons. Against damage of equipment. The local environment and drain the splashliquid in a controlled manner. The profitabillity of the procesline, when using Spray Control you can decide in case of a leak when to repair Spray Control Tape is used to protect staff from uncontrolled spray or drips that might occur at a leaking gasket.
Installation Spray Control Tape is the most easy to install ; just wrap around the piping, valves & flanges or the part what needs to be insulated with an completely overlap wrapping around the connections. It will protect against a unwanted sprayout. The Spray Control tape need to wrapped with wrinkles around the pipe. A sprayout will leave the liquid in the wrinkled areas. Cut a small hole in the lower part of the tape so liquid can drop out. .śź◘ʼnś
