Use: HeatStop is available in rolls, size 50mm wide x 7,8 mtr long. is easy to handle environmental & health friendly. HeatStop modified Alubasalt-tape is the way to use for insulation of Hot pipingsystems on board it meets Solas Regulation ll 2/15.2.10., also comply with MSC. 61(67) A surfaces with temperatures above 220ยบ C which may be impinged as a result of a fuel system failure shall be properly insulated The Basaltlayer is laminated to a stretched alufoil, by simply wrapping around the piping the heatsource will be insulated.
