You all know the COVID “drill”, but combine that with worst drought in 60 years and we find ourselves still working through challenges at our place. A year that reminds us to be grateful for family, relationships and friendship. It is a times like these that we must respect the value of a cow herd in producing a solid set of working sale bulls. Adversity and challenges certainly creates the ultimate of culling and selection tools in a breeding program resulting in the most solid and productive set of cows ever. From the desk at T Bar.... Welcome to the Neilson Cattle Company Annual Charolais Bull Sale, Monday, March 22, 2021 at the ranch, Willowbrook, Saskatchewan. For over three decades, Mike and Joanne have been supplying the livestock industry with high quality Charolais bulls. Their success must be credited to the fertility and longevity of the bulls and much of their customer base is repeat. Many of the bulls over the years have been selected by large breeding pastures who have been dedicated customers simply because Neilson bulls are high quality and good value. What a great group of bulls on offer for 2021… these April and May born, polled, two-year-olds are complete in all dimensions… nice birth weights, tons of muscle shape, long-sided, thick from end to end and plenty of hair and testicle. The bulls are grassed throughout the summer in large pastures for growth and soundness, then brought in, in the fall, to slowly prepare them for sale condition. You can rest assured that these bulls are not stuffed and are full of natural muscle. Neilson bulls are great value for dollars invested and backed by their personal guarantee. Delivery... Neilson Cattle Company will assist with delivery arrangements. Bulls can be boarded free until April 15. After April 15, bulls will be charged $5/day. We encourage bull pickup on sale day.
The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable at par at the sale location. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance, unless previous arrangements have been made. Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision will be final. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian funds. Each animal will sell to the highest bidder... no by-bidding will be permitted. Disputes - Bidding will be reopened between the parties involved in dispute. If no further bidding is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision on all disputes will be final.
