As a 2 year old we used 16B on some heifers with good results. Impressive as a yearling, he has matured into a powerful herd bull with excellent feet and disposition. He adds muscle and scrotal development and his progeny are very correct. His dam is a very consistent producer with a nice udder with small teats.
4A is a moderate framed herd bull who matured out to 2450 lbs on the Precision Ag Scales at Carnduff. We started out using him on heifers as a yearling. He proved to be an excellent calver, retained his flesh well and with minimum care developed into a very fancy two year old. He is a free moving bull who we have come to use more heavily as time goes on. His dam is a very moderate frame cow who consistently produces top quality progeny.

CONNEALY ARSENAL 2174
This good doing, easy fleshing bull was used lightly as a yearling but extensively as a 2 year old. You will see some real top bull calves by him in next years sale. We drew semen and the bull now works for Angus Ridge Farms, Jamie and Charlene Chapman, at Carlyle Sask.
GLENNIE BROS. ANGUS LONG YEARLING BULLS
WEIGHTS AND MEASURES AND HOW WE DEVELOP BULLS TO DELIVER A BETTER PRODUCT
The weaning weights and yearling weights below each animal’s pedigree in the catalogue are the actual weights.
Actual weaning weight day September 28th, 2024
Actual yearling weight day May 5th, 2025
We do not creep feed prior to weaning. At weaning the calves are started on brown oats and a supplement from Cargill.
With an appreciation for longevity and soundness we do not push our bulls to post big yearling weights. From May 2, 2025 we ran the yearling bulls on grass. On Sept 25, 2025 we started feeding them brown oats and a Cargill suppliment. We like to see the bulls put on some condition prior to winter setting in. By sale day I think you will find the bulls to be in nice rig but not fat.
