3. How to Bid
Now that you are logged in and your account phone number / e-mail is verified you are able to bid on an upcoming sale. Simply find the lot you are interested in bidding on. After you have found the lot there are 2 options for bidding on the lot.
- Place Next Bid – to place the next bid on the item, you see the amount in the first box, you simply click the “Place Bid” button and after you review the bid and agree to the terms and conditions your bid will be placed.
- Max Bid Amount – to place a max bid you put your max bid in the second box listed as “Max Bid” on the item, and then click the “Place Bid” button and after you review the bid and agree to the terms and conditions your bid will be placed as the next bid. With the Max Bid placed the computer will then keep you as the high bidder to the max amount you have placed. This can be a great feature if you are not able to give 100% attention to the sale close out and protect your interest so you do not miss out on any lots you want to purchase. The Max Bid amount is completely confidential from the seller during the sale process.
Example of How the Max Bid Works - If the lot has a $2000 bid on it and you place a proxy bid of $3500 into the system, the computer will bid $2100 for you but if some one else bids $2200, the computer will again bid for you, this time at $2300. The system will look after your interest to a maximum of $3500. If another bidder is on at $3600, your proxy will no longer be effective and you will no longer have the winning bid on this lot without once again logging in and bidding again or moving your attention to a second lot of interest. Please note that in some cases a lot value can change very quickly if 2 max bids are placed on the same lot competing against each other.
4. Watch List Feature
If you have items in multiple auctions or only a few from the same auction that you want to watch with out having to scroll through the entire list you can add the lots to your watch list. On each lot you will see the “eye” button beside the bid button, by clicking this “watch list” Icon that item is added to your personal watch list for easy viewing of just your favorite lots in this sale or on the entire site.
5. Sale Ending / Closeout
Most Farm Gate Timed Auction sales close racehorse style with extended bidding.
What is Racehorse Style Close?
Racehorse style sale close is when the entire sale stays open in extended bidding. This type of sale allows you as the bidder to change to a different lot within the same sale if the bidding has gone in to extended bidding.
How will Extended Bidding works?
When we get to the close out end time the clock for close extends with any bid placed with less than 5 min. on the clock. This type of extended bidding turns the end time to more of a soft time. Extended bidding allows bidders to compete in lots like a real auction and give all bidders the same time to make a decision. Always follow the clock to see how much time remains in the sale you are interested in.
6. Bidding Close & Follow-up
After the clock has gone to “ENDED” and no bidding has occurred for 5 min the computer will declare the sale finished. Following the close typically within 24 hours of the sale close the sale consignor will contact all winning bidders to arrange payment, transfer of pedigrees and delivery/Pick up of your lot. Or as the winning bidding you can contact the sale consignor / sale manager to confirm payment instructions.
Please make sure that your account info is up-to-date and correct if you are the winning bidder of a lot as this is how the billing is sent to Sale manager and/or Sale consignor.

Welcome to FLYING W STOCK FARM’S Third Annual Online Timed BULL Sale in conjunction with the Kereluik’s of Twin Heritage Farms. As we continue to raise quality, proven purebred Simmental genetics but under a different name then in previous years. Our family has been involved with raising Simmental bulls since the mid ninety’s with our kids being highly involved in the daily activities around the farm, as well as participating in 4H, and the Sask Youth Simmental Assoc.
Our goal at Flying W is to provide quality breeding bulls that are easy fleshing bulls that have a big foot to move on, that are wide topped with a good spring of rib. Our bulls are fed in a way that they are not pushed and are grown out so they will continue to grow and mature how they should. I believe in having Longevity in the bulls which is why we feed them the way we do. Docility is also a priority as these bulls are quiet.
Our offering this year will consist of all yearling bulls, some of them are from top breed leading AI sires in the Simmental industry as well as our NEW main sire group from MRK Capitalist 35H, as well as our new calving ease bull R Plus 2227K, and our Black Herd bull FWSF New Era 4G.
I would also like to thank all of our new and past customers who have supported our breeding program and look forward to meeting new customers along the way.
We at Flying W encourage presale visits to appraise the bulls and their mothers anytime before sale day. There will be videos of the bulls posted on the DLMS WEBSITE as well as a weight and scrotal sheet prior to the date of the sale.

Flying W Trump 123M has been a stand out since he hit the ground and what a way to lead off our 2025 sale. Trump is a bull that gets your attention as soon as you walk in the pen because of his extra length, width as well as depth of body he really brings it all together in a really neat package. A bull with a really good set of feet and legs under him as well as a big spring of rib that you have to admire. Trump was on our road team this year and made many friends in the stall as he was a very competitive individual over the summer and fall. Trump’s dam HWY 5 Bountiful 123G is a young cow we think quite high of here at Flying W and is really proving herself and earning her keep on the farm as she has just dropped us another 3/4 sib bull calf. She is a good uddered cow with tons of power while still keeping an attractive and feminine front end. If you’re looking for a performance bull who’s bound to fill your replacement pen take a look here.

Capital is out of a really big bodied R+ 2035Z daughter who is one that can raise them right and keep them consistent.

A bull we call FAVOR but should have been called favorite as we have been watching this calf since he was born. We selected his Sire from the R-Plus dispersal, the 2227K bull was selected for use in the Heifer pen and also used with a select few second calvers to add a different dimension in the bullpen. Favor is out of a first calf BOA heifer that we had shown as an open heifer. The 2227k calves are born easy and very vigorous when they hit the ground, he patterns his calves with great muscle shape, a good set of feet and legs, although they were born a bit smaller these calves show lots of growth out on pasture which I consider to be of the curve bender mentality. Very docile sire group which exhibit a good spring of rib, deep sided with a stylish eye appeal. Favor himself has a 70lb birth weight but grew like we expected him to and pushed the scale down in the fall off of a first time heifer. Could be used in the heifer Pen. From the time Jody at Crossroad Farms delivered their high selling bull, Lamborghini, Lambo has never seen a pail of grain at Twin Heritage. His natural fleshing ability will put dollars in your pockets.
Lambo wouldn’t fit on our scale, but a good guess is he is over 2700lbs
• Lambo is a wide topped, deep bodied, thick quartered bull that has bred incredibly for us
• Free moving and athletic with exceptional eye appeal and impressive shape and muscle.
• His sons are consistent; thick butted, wide topped, and free moving. His daughters are making exceptional cows with tidy udders.
• An exceptional Herdsire on his own merit, but likely Lambo’s best-selling feature is his impressive powerhouse Pixie dam.
