elcome everyone to Bar 5’s 39th Bull sale. We are very proud of our record of supplying quality bulls to the North American cattle Industry over the past 39 years and look forward to our 40th bull sale Anniversary. We think our offering this year is one of the strongest in many years with many great performing animals with a number of new outcross genetics. Our mix includes fullbloods, Fleckvieh, polled, homozygous, with a number of handpicked Angus animals included. We welcome the involvement of a number of breeders who have been part of our test program. As in the past, we have included a very exclusive group of heifers ready to be bred with the bull of your choice or flushed. Our program has remained the same i.e. breeding improved quality Simmentals through a scientific approach, introducing new outcross genetics, cross breeding, and raising a small group of exclusive Angus cattle. Friday night we offer a barbeque, sit down dinner, music, and fellowship. This year we are also offering an auction of Semen and Embryos from the heart of the program. We would like to thank all buyers and guests for supporting our program over the years and of course we would also thank the participants in this year’s sale as well as the Bar 5 staff for doing a great job once again. This year as well as showing all the cattle on video we are also offering the sale on the internet for the buyer’s convenience.
