From the desk at T Bar... When you hear the word tradition, you automatically think of something good. Traditions are things we look forward to with great anticipation. Every tradition begins somewhere and on September 30th we are starting a new one… The Autumn Tradition Sale. As with most traditions, it involves a family opening up their home and inviting everyone in. Our hosts, Ian, Joy, Wendy and Tim Rudkin are doing just that; along with their guest consignors, they invite you and your family to join them as they offer the best of their programs. The cattle on offer are honest, hard working, real world cattle. The majority of the cattle are consigned by Maple Line Farm; Ian makes his living solely off agriculture; therefore the cattle are not pampered or over managed; they have to produce saleable progeny each and every year without extras and second chances. The consignors involved share the same breeding values and have consigned a set of cattle that are money makers, without a lot of fan fair. You truly need to attend this first annual sale, as these programs do not exhibit their cattle at many shows; the only way to discover these hidden gems of the pasture is to come see for yourself. I believe once you are here, you will agree that this is one tradition you will want to be part of for years to come.
