Get to Know Joe Dominguez & Custom Builds LLC Joe Dominguez, a Las Vegas native with over 54 years of residency, brings a wealth of experience and passion to his company, Custom Builds LLC. Raised in a family with roots in Cuba, Joe’s journey into the construction industry began with humble beginnings. His father, originally pursuing a career in medicine, was drawn to Las Vegas for its promise of opportunity. Working at the Tropicana Resort & Hotel for over 54 years, until retirement, Joe’s father instilled in him the value of hard work and seizing opportunities. Joe’s own path led him through various trades, starting as an apprentice electrician, then transitioning to block masonry and framing. Along the way, he gained diverse skills and experiences, culminating in the establishment of Desert Green Landscaping, Masonry & Pools in 1997. Growing the business to over 180 employees by 2008, Joe eventually sold it to a partner to pursue his true passion: custom home building.
Since the early 2000s, Joe has been involved in building custom homes, fueled by his love for design and cars. His vision emphasizes single-story layouts, RV garage inclusion, and spacious ½ acre lots. With over 100 homes under his belt, Joe takes immense pride in his work, treating each project as a personal endeavor. What sets Joe and Custom Builds LLC apart is their commitment to hands-on involvement and attention to detail. Unlike builders who merely oversee projects, Joe is actively engaged on-site with all subcontractors, ensuring quality and precision throughout the process. He prioritizes customer satisfaction, aiming to exceed expectations by anticipating their needs and desires. Moreover, Joe strives to create a transparent and client-centric approach, avoiding nickel-and-dime practices common in the industry. His goal is simple: to build homes that he himself would be proud to live in, delivering happiness and fulfillment to his clients along the way.
