As the Sylvania Area Chamber of Commerce, we spearheaded a robust social media campaign for Pizza Palooza, sharing over 50 posts across Instagram and Facebook leading up to the event.
Our content strategy focused on spotlighting every key element—highlighting our incredible sponsors, introducing the 12 participating pizza vendors, and promoting exciting event features like the live music lineup, the Kids Zone, the voting booth experience, and more. From countdowns to vendor sneak peeks and interactive polls, our posts were designed to engage the community and build momentum.
This consistent and dynamic online presence helped generate strong awareness and anticipation, contributing to the event's success.

Pizza Palooza’s buzz was built through a multi media blitz, through other outlets besides the Chamber. News outlets like WTOL and 13 ABC ran features highlighting the event. Local radio spots and news releases emphasized voting for the People’s Choice Award, further driving traffic. Influencers, such as Guy in the 419, amplified the hype by sharing behind‑the‑scenes glimpses, while traditional media— newspapers and online event listings—provided essential details and community endorsements. Vendors also shared details and encouraged their followers to vote for them on social media. This seamless blend of social chatter, influencer flair, radio call‑outs, and press coverage ensured Pizza Palooza stayed top‐of‐mind for families and pizza fans alike.
