Field Hockey Camp Grades 5-10

For beginner players to seasoned veterans, this camp will assist in maximizing your potential. Focus on technique and game play that will provide confidence, skill development, fun and fitness. Learn to love the game. Practice and learn the important principles of team play to maximize your chances of making the team for any level of play. Players need to provide their own: stick, shin guards, eye protection and mouth guard.

Skyhawks Sports Camps

Since 1979, Skyhawks sports has led safe, fun and skill-focused sports camps and programs for youth between the ages of 3-12. We offer 15 different sports–and countless ways for your child to grow. The camps range from soccer to baseball to our popular multi-sport camps where kids sample three different sports (soccer, basketball and baseball) in one camp. Skyhawks camps and programs are offered locally throughout over 500 communities. The format includes traditional week-long summer day camps and year-round after-school programs that range from 45 minutes to 6 hours in duration, per day. Our progression of camps and programs, led by our expert staff, are generated toward youth looking for a sport introduction or those who want to refine and master their sport-specific skills.

Tiny-Hawks (Soccer & Basketball) Ages 3-4

e essentials of soccer and basketball are introduced in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment. Campers must be toilet trained in order to participate. Children will learn balance, body movement, hand/eye coordination, and skill development through a series of sport-specific games tailored to their attention spans. Mini-Hawk (Soccer, Basketball & Baseball)

Ages 4-7 is multi-sport program was developed to give children a positive first step into athletics. e essentials of baseball, basketball and soccer are taught in a safe, structured environment with lots of encouragement and a big focus on fun. Our Mini-Hawk games and activities were designed to allow campers to explore balance, movement, hand/eye coordination, and skill development at their own pace. Skyhawks Basketball Ages 6-8

Skill-intensive program for the beginner to intermediate player. Using our progressional curriculum and focusing on the whole player, we teach the skills needed both on and off the court to be a better athlete. Focus on respect, teamwork, and responsibility, and start each day with a “skill of the day” and progressing into drills and games. Skyhawks Beginning Golf Ages 5-8

Skyhawks Golf focuses on building the confidence of young athletes through proper technique and refining the essential skills of the game. Golf is a challenging and lifelong sport, so young athletes need proper focus on the fundamentals of form, swinging, putting, and body positioning. To assist in this training, Skyhawks has adopted the SNAG (Starting New At Golf) system to its curriculum. SNAG is specifically designed for the entry-level player; SNAG simplifies instruction so that young players can make an easy and effective transition onto the golf course. No need to bring your own clubs, all equipment is provided. For safety reasons we utilize special helmets for all campers and keep the instructor-to-camper ratio for this program very low, resulting in limited availability. ese programs fill up quickly. Skyhawks Multi-Sport Camp Ages 7-11

(Soccer, Baseball, Basketball & Flag Football)

Our multi-sport camp is designed to introduce young athletes to a variety of different sports in one setting. For this program we combine soccer, baseball, basketball & flag football into one funfilled week. Athletes will learn the rules and essentials of each sport through skill-based games and scrimmages. By the end of the week, your child will walk away with knowledge of multiple sports along with vital life lessons such as respect, teamwork, and self-discipline. Participant-to-coach ratio: 12:1 Gear to bring: Appropriate clothing, water bottle, running shoes, baseball glove, and sunscreen. Food to bring: Lunch, snack & water bottle. Skyhawks Flag Football Camp Ages 7-12

Skyhawks Flag Football is the perfect program for young athletes who want a complete introduction to “America’s Game” or for those who simply want to brush up on their skills in preparation for league play. rough our “skill of the day” activities, campers will learn skills on both sides of the ball including the core components of passing, catching, and de-flagging or defensive positioning – all presented in a fun and positive environment. e week ends with the Skyhawks Super Bowl, giving participants a chance to showcase their skills on the gridiron! STEM & Play Basketball Camp Ages 8-12

is program combines strategic STEM-based activities with traditional Skyhawks basketball instruction and a focus on life skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship. e STEM Sports® basketball curriculum educates children on subjects including velocity and acceleration, basketball shoe design, tracking with technology and much, much more! Participants will also learn the fundamentals of passing, shooting, ball handling, rebounding and defense through skill-based drills and scrimmages. Skyhawks puts the Sports in STEM.
