Milo

DOG OF THE MONTH Meet Milo! He is an 8 year old Golden Doodle that was rescued from the county shelter.

He loves walks around North Palm, car rides and laying under the desk, supervising operations. He's a treats over toys kind of guy and looks forward to his monthly Bark Boxes. He keeps the treats and donates the toys to charity. He has a live and let live attitude towards other animals, except when it come to cats.

Cats are low on his favorites list. Sorry, Kitties.

NORTH PALM PROUD North Palm is known for its holiday lights and Halloween displays. Residents go all out for the big holidays. Over on Yacht Club Drive, you can find a new display every month celebrating the season or holiday.

Our neighbor, Donna, at the Harbour View condos decorates the front of their building for EVERY occasion.

Each month there is a new, cute display paying tribute to the current holiday. The whimsical decorations are original, creative, and highly anticipated. Bravo for your awesome effort!!

YOU'RE INVITED! Many of you know my passion for keeping our waterways clean. This year we are going big with a joint effort between myself and the Village of North Palm Beach. Join us for the official NPB Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 22nd from 10:30 - 12:30 at Anchorage park. There will be a plant swap (bring plants to share), native tree giveaway (for NPB residents), scavenger hunt, prizes, and a waterway clean-up. Be sure to join in on this fun event for all ages.

Don't forget your photo ID if you want to take home a native tree.

MONDAY NIGHT FUN Belles To-Go have upped the fun with BINGO on monday nights.

Drop in for dinner with a view and grab a bingo card for a chance to win some amazing prizes.

MARKET UPDATE Will home prices continue to soar in our area?

That is a great question and here is a summary of what Chief Economist for the National Association of Realtors, Dr. Lawrence Yun, has to say. The southern states are doing very well post Covid as many of us have seen. Northerners are still moving to warmer climates and more space. Due to the residual housing shortage carried over from 2008, we are still in a seller's market in Palm Beach County. (Which means, not enough inventory for the demand). As we enter the 2nd quarter of 2023, he predicts home prices will level out while we wait for mortgage rates to stabilize. With 5.5% predicted by the end of 2023, he feels that home prices may rise slightly, yet nothing like the appreciation we saw since 2019. It's advantageous to own real estate and remains one of the best vehicles to grow your wealth.

Speaking of wealth - do you know the current value of your home? It's a wise thing to know and easy for me to do for you. It's one of the largest assets in your investment portfolio. Your CPA may be asking for this info or you want to make sure you have enough home insurance coverage. Maybe you want to remodel and harvest some of that equity? Downsizing or upsizing - It is still a good time to sell due to our low inventory.
