FROM THE MIDDLE EAST TO A BEACH HOUSE ON 30A While traveling earlier this year with friends in the Middle East, Ryan took a photograph of the Alila Jabal Ahkdar Hotel. It was a once in a lifetime trip in an extraordinarily special place so he commissioned Stephanie Torregrossa to paint a piece using the photo as inspiration. “Our beach house on 30A is scheduled for completion at the end of this month. I wanted to infuse the memories of that trip into the decor of our beach home. Art gives me a way to do that and to make the space beautiful and personal,” says Ryan. “People think we create spaces, which of course we do, but what we really do is create an emotional connection to a space. Original art embellishes this emotion by making it very personal for the owner which is why we are so excited about this promotion. We try to incorporate our client’s “valued treasures” into all of our designs. Usually, it’s a photograph, a keepsake from a trip or a family heirloom.
