Call for Artists Welcome to Femmes 2017, IInd edition of the prestigious International Exhibition of Contenporary Art organized by the Gallery Swiss Arts Space in Lausanne and followed by many artists and the large audience of connoisseurs and swiss public. Femmes II is open to all artworks related to the world of women, all techniques in visual arts are admitted as well as all formats. Please, read carefully the following pages where we introduced all necessary information for participation in our exhibition. There is also the participation contract, to be return to us with your application and the pictures of artworks to choose and their details for labeling. Conditions for participation at Exhibition Femmes 2017 In order to exhibit artworks in exhibition and sell those works, the Artist and Swiss Art Space (SAS) dually agree to the following for :

1 Admission selection 1.1
The applications must be send by email only to : gallery@swissartspace.com

The Artist initially provides to the SAS before selection 5 - 8 artworks maximum in digital format : .jpeg, .jpg, .tiff, .gif, .png, .pdf, .psd for the selection of SAS and all artworks details for the selection (see document ”details“, page 14 ) Deadline for sending your initial proposition to SAS : Monday 23 January 2017
2 Selection 2.1
Only fully completed applications shall be considered. The selections to Exhibition will be notified by email, including the bank details for payment of the exhibition participation fee.
3 After the selection The Artist provides the SAS following final selection 3.1

4 Space SAS provides a place to display the artworks (Maximum width of 200cm / artwork) Each artist is given the possibility to exhibit 3 works minimum of art throughout the time of the exhibition Femmes 2017.
5 SAS services to the Artist 5.1
The organization of the opening and the finishing of the exhibition
5.2
Creation of the layout of the invitation and of the poster of the Exhibition
5.3
Printing of the invitation and poster, and mailing addresses according to the SAS
5.4
20 invitations, 5 posters of the Exhibition
5.5
Delivery of digital files PDF and .JPEG of the invitation for artists on personal email and for social media
5.6
Sending press releases and contacts to local and regional trade press sources
5.7
Sending email invitations to (4000) SAS contact addresses.

6 Cost of participation in Exhibition The Artist agrees to pay CHF 250.- corresponding to the duration and fees for Exhibition. 7 Returning costs of unsold artworks At the end of the Exhibition, the returning costs of unsold artworks are due to the Artist.
8 Cancellation When the Artist accepts the conditions for his / her participation, no cancellations are possible
9 Commission on sales A 15% commission on sales will be granted to Swiss Art Space at the end of the Exhibition, once all artworks are paid in full.

10 Responsibility 10.1 Artworks are insured by the Artist for all concurrent risks for the duration of the Exhibition. 10.2 SAS declines all responsibility for damage, loss or theft of artworks before, during and after the Exhibition.
11 Schedule SAS is open from Tuesday to Friday from 15h to 18h, and Saturday from 14h to 17h or by appointment (+41 79 413 45 77). Guard of the works is provided by the SAS throughout the Exhibition.
12 Final dispositions 12.1 For the sake of clarity, the parties agree that this contract is not subject to the rules relating to leases in the Swiss Code of Obligations. 12.2 In case of dispute between the parties, they agree to submit to the rules of courts of Lausanne, and Swiss law is applied.
