Between 21 June and 4 July 2017, SWISS will be celebrating the Central Switzerland Wrestling and Alpine Festival with special dishes on board selected European flights.
Am ersten Juliwochenende wird auf dem Flugplatz Alpnach um die Kränze geschwungen. Am 111. Innerschweizer Schwing- und Älplerfest steigen «die Bösen» wieder in die Hosen und versuchen, im Sägemehl ihr Bestes zu geben. Im Schatten des mächtigen Pilatus findet hier nicht nur ein kraftvoller Wettkampf statt, sondern auch ein fröhliches Fest mit Speisen, Getränken und traditioneller musikalischer Unterhaltung für alle Besucher. Das Innerschweizer Schwing- und Älplerfest findet am Sonntag, 2. Juli 2017 statt. Freuen Sie sich bereits heute auf die regionalen kulinarischen Highlights bei uns an Bord. Zum Beispiel auf Obwaldner Rohschinken mit Hobelkäserollen und Tomatensalsa. Bei längeren Flügen gibt es zur Hauptspeise Kalbsfilet mit Pfefferjus und Ofentori oder Hindersimagronen mit Gerschnialper Sbrinz. On the first weekend in July, the laurel wreath will be bestowed on Switzerland’s best wrestler at the Alpnach airfield. At the 111th Central Switzerland Wrestling and Alpine Festival, “the bad boys” will once again pull up their sleeves and give it their all in the sawdust-strewn ring. But it’s not just about a demonstration of power, but a merry celebration with plenty of food, drinks and musical entertainment for all visitors as well. The Central Switzerland Wrestling and Alpine Festival takes place on Sunday, 2 July 2017. You can look forward to regional culinary highlights on board, too. For example, dry-cured ham from Obwalden with sliced cheese and a tomato salsa. On longer flights, we’ll be serving a veal fillet with pepper gravy and a potato gratin, or a traditional Swiss macaroni gratin with pears. For dessert, an Obwaldner meringue with diplomat cream and berry compote awaits.
