It’s the spookiest month of the year and quite possibly the busiest! Between fundraising for Unicef and raising awareness for breast cancer be sure to stop and smell the pumpkin spice lattes!

What is Lupus? Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease, meaning that when an individual suffers from Lupus their immune system begins to break down healthy cells. Lupus affects joints and organs in the body. Lupus is characterized by fatigue, anemia, joint pain, and swelling (among other things). The Lupus Foundation aims to find a cure for the disease!
Statistics • 5 million people worldwide are affected by Lupus • 1 out of every 537 young African American women is impacted • 1.5 million Americans suffer with symptoms
How You Can Help • Organize a community walk and collect donations! • Host a bake sale, and hand out flyers containing info about Lupus to raise awareness! • Plan a Color Run where you sell admissions tickets and t-shirts to everyone!
That’s right! Your favorite Halloween service project is back again! All clubs that have participated will be sent 1 unit of boxes (25 boxes). If you’ve never ordered, be sure to hop onto UnicefUSA.org/Trick-or-treat ASAP!

It is the largest event of the KeyClub year with more than 1,600 Key Clubbers attending from the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean. This year ICON is being held in Chicago .You will get the opportunity to meet and vote on international board for next year. You will also get to see amazing speakers and the beautiful city of Chicago. Don't skip on this amazing opportunity to further your education in Key Club!

Breakthrough is a new program offered by Key Club International! Its centered on servant leadership and how to help and lead those around you! Breakthrough will now be twice the size it was last year! Offering program studies in New Orleans and Miami! Running fro January 1-7! Applications close October 15!
