Clara Pinto has been selected for the prestigious LFW Discovery Lab, a platform where emerging designers showcase their collections on Fashion Week’s digital stage. To offer fashion enthusiasts the opportunity to experience her collection firsthand, Clara extends an invitation to join her on Sunday, June 9th, at 5 p.m., at Sarabande, The Lee Alexander McQueen Foundation, where she was previously a studio resident. Attendees will immerse themselves in a multifaceted fashion show which also includes a fashion film screening, a textile installation, and a live performance by a Tango orchestra.

In her latest collection, ‘WOOL COUTURE’, Clara Pinto seamlessly blends tradition with innovation. All pieces are entirely made with hand-made felt and dyed with natural pigments. Through the integration of zero-waste, 3D, wet-felt techniques, Clara achieves an intricate interplay of sculptural shapes. “I have a strong passion for textile manipulation.

Therefore, my inspiration is generally drawn from our development in fabric research and symbolic elements from my homeland” Drawing inspiration from her Argentinian heritage, Clara’s designs pay homage to the rustic charm of the Ombu tree and its delicate blooms. The brand’s distinctive style is characterised by vibrant colours, layering of transparencies, and the meticulous craftsmanship of felts, resulting in garments that are uniquely original. “We design for women who exude confidence in their individuality, embracing fashion with effortless authenticity,” says the designer.

Building on insights from previous collections, the brand’s production techniques have evolved to incorporate innovative approaches in wet, needle, and nuno felting alongside bio-materials and digital printing. The collection also features an exciting collaboration with jewellery designer Sara Chyan made with Hawaiian fireball pearls and bio-resin.
