AC Distribution

Cincinnati summers can be extremely hot and humid. Apartments and smaller homes often have poor ventilation and offer no retreat from the heat. Without access to an air conditioner, children with asthma, the elderly, people with respiratory issues, or people burdened by illness may face greater health risks. The SVDP AC Distribution helps alleviate the adverse impacts of high heat and humidity by providing free air conditioners to neighbors.

Coat Drive

Each year, as the temperatures drop and the first snowfall covers the area, St. Vincent de Paul collects and distributes new and gently used coats, as well as gloves, hats, and scarves, for more than 3,000 neighbors in our community.

More than 100 businesses in the community participate in the coat drive by hosting coat collection bins in their offices.

Collections that support SVDP throughout the year include but are not limited to:

• Year-round: non-perishable food, hygiene and personal care items, clothing, and household goods

• Holiday-season: coats, gloves/ mittens, scarves, hats, and new toys

Corporate Giving

• Employee giving through automatic payroll deduction

• Matching gifts

• Community grants

• Community partnerships

• Corporate social responsibility initiatives
