is what sets St. Vincent de Paul apart. We help neighbors meet their basic needs, but we also go further—striving to provide emotional and spiritual support through compassionate, person-to-person assistance. Your generosity helps ensure our neighbors have access to the essentials throughout the year. Now, as Christmas approaches, we invite you to lift up our neighbors in prayer.
Each prayer in this booklet was submitted by a neighbor seeking help from St. Vincent de Paul. Their words represent the hardships, dreams, and joys of this challenging year. Thank you for praying for and with our neighbors in need this Christmas season. We will be praying for you too.
Needing prayers for strength and understanding for grief.
Prayers for getting my health in order and trying to get spiritually connected with the heavenly Father.
Prayers for my fears of worrying about being homeless, failing health, losing my job and not being able to take care of myself.
Pray for me. I have breathing problems and shortness of breath.
Pray I find a home for me and my children during this difficult time. Finding a job is a little hard right now with transportation and trouble affording bus tickets.
Prayers for my eyesight surgery.
Pray for my whole household as well as extended family. I am an LVAD patient waiting to be placed on the heart transplant list and I am a single parent of two boys. My boys are 3 and 14 years old.
Pray for love and blessings for me and my family.
Pray for salvation for my children.
Bring them to Christ. Pray for me to be provided housing.
Just pray for my family and my mental health and well being.
Please pray for me to better my health, to take away my ills and pain, to give me strength, to help me better my life and prosper, help my business thrive and help me do better in life.
I need prayer to continue my journey since my family is back home in the South and I am the only one living in Cincinnati.
I need prayer to stay focused on recovery from addiction.
