It is the main centre, the first, the biggest and the best equipped. Here you can find the head office, the real heart of the network that coordinates the activities of all the other centers. A cool, green area, 10.000 sqm in size, for relaxing and sunbathing between lessons, a snack bar, a coffee bar and a terrace overlooking the lake. And, of course, changing rooms, showers, lock-up facilities for 240 boards and a large carpark for more than 160 cars. The protected bay where our centre is situated is an ideal training camp not only for those who are at their first attempts, but also for those who want to improve their techniques in complete safety (jibing, harness, etc.).

Enjoy windsurfing, fun and sport in safety. This with materials and methods specially developed for the ones younger than 14. SurfSegnana presents the first Junior Windsurfing Club: your own school, a small world for you. You will find a friendly atmosphere and professionality at all the schools of SurfSegnana, but here these are combined with exclusive teaching methods and a team of teachers who are specially educated to teach children. Fun is guaranteed, sport will be a play and only in a few hours the youngest will be able to surf. In this way our young participants will enjoy a fantastic holiday at Lake Garda. The surfmaterial is specially designed for the youngest. Everything is tailor made; “kid” till “junior” sails (starting from 1,2 m2), Fanatic and Hifly boards, “Open Ocean” wetsuits and lifejackets in all sizes. The SurfSegnana Junior Windsurfing Club finds itself in Torbole, next to the school for adults, at campsite Maroadi. The surfcourses are organised in our bay, where the wind and waves are never too strong and security is absolutely assured. Perfect conditions to start, to get to know this sport and feel the joy of windsurfing.
Sailing Zone is an area totally dedicated to the sailors inside our main centre. Here the Catamaran and Dinghy lovers can find all the conforts and the best services. In fact, thanks to the TopCat Catamarans and the RS boats, our centre is a real sailing school. It is the perfect spot for learning and improving the sailing technique and also the right place for renting the boat to enjoy the lake with your friends.

Situated in an olive garden, the centre disposes of a bar, restaurant, terrace on lakeside and dressingrooms. A centre with a new concept on windsurfing, on the central beach of Torbole, where we also offer the possibility to try our material. Starting on the latest boards “wide style”, ideal for beginners. Further we offer Fanatic freeride boards for higher efficiency up to the most extreme freestyle and wave models. If you want to enjoy the thrill of surfing on the best waves of Garda Lake, the “Porfina Beach” centre, near Camping Bavaria, is your best bet. The “Porfina - Porto S.Nicolò” beach is the habitual meeting place of the most famous surfers of the area (in the afternoon when the punctual Ora wind blows). This centre is situated on Camping Bavaria, where you can taste also the great dishes at pizzeria and restaurant Bavaria. In the morning the water conditions are great even for beginners. In addition to all this you’ll find everything you need, from changing rooms to showers, bar, fully equipped beach and plenty of friendly people. Furthermore, Riva del Garda offers a lot to enjoy yourself; shops, pubs and music or simply visit the ancient history, art and culture of this beautiful town-centre.

VDWS-Italia: Professional Experience The VDWS certificate is a recognised diploma worldwide which certifies the basic technical knowledge and fundamental safety measures of windsurf. This certificate (price e 30.-) is obtainable at our centre thanks to an appropriate exam, that qualifies the holder to surf and hire material in any windsurf school around the world.
VDWS - Instructor’s Courses
At Marco Segnana’s Surf Centers it’s possible to take an exam to achieve a VDWS instructor’s licence. Such a licence gives you the opportunity to work in any VDWS windsurf centre worldwide.

Courses begin every day of the week at 09.00 or 13.30 h, depending on the level. Group lessons - max. number 5-6 people. Duration: 3 hours. Security service Our rescue service is always ready to intervene.

Video clinic system During the course your lessons are filmed on video which you then watch with an instructor. This aspect of the course is an essential part of the learning process for correcting errors and improving techniques.

... and to make everything easier: Planing simulator - Learn on shore the harness technique and correct planing position. You can choose which days to follow lessons, whether consecutively or on odd days throughout the season or at some time in the future, with no expiry date. At the beginning of the course, we give you a test in order to decide your level. If we feel it is necessary, you can move from one level to a higher one. Each course includes theory, the simulator, the video and lessons in the water with an instructor. Lessons will take place every day in all weather conditions. For the school and hire, we require proof of identity. Courses are held in English, Dutch, German, French, Italian and Polish. School diploma awarded at eight different levels. For groups of at least 4 people 10% discount. Clients are always responsible for the materials they use, even when they are involved in an accident.
Insurance: all course participants are insured for third party liability by the ITAS insurance company.
Especially for the women it is now very easy to start windsurfing and enjoying this sport without big efforts. Thanks to the light Hifly Sails, available at our school, you don’t have to be a spectator anymore. Now our surf-women, starting from 6 years old, can learn windsurfing just like the stronger boys, without being afraid to strain oneselves. There are no more excuses! Only a bit of enthusiasm, the rest is organised by us. In the bay before our school you can practise secure… and after the course enjoy the sun on our beautiful lawn.

Always clean wetsuits We offer the new range of wetsuits of “Open Ocean” in any size, starting off 120 cm body length. To guarantee an optimum hygiene to our course participants and clients, we have developed the cleaning system “Wet & Clean”, which disinfects the wetsuits regularly.

At SurfSegnana we are always prepared with a team of experienced instructors, with a fleet of new TopCat catamarans and RS dinghies. The lessons are organized on a special and personal way. The lessons will be with maximum 2 or 3 persons plus the teacher. This will result as an intensive lesson and our beginners can achieve in a period of 6 lessons, the technical level and sufficient confidence to sail independent and also obtain the certificate of the VDWS, recognized all over the world. Otherwise if you want to rent a boat to have fun with your friends you have only to book it!

Whistle-Bike test center If you are keen on MOUNTAIN BIKING, you can rent one in our Centers or book a guided tour on the most beautiful paths of the area. Available for you are 300 brand new Whistle mountain bikes, both front and full suspended. All our mountain bikes are equipped with helmet and a “security pack”, so to guarantee to you “tours” in full security. For great adventures on two wheels, the qualitative, highgraded Whistle bikes are the perfect partner. They are a concentration of the modern technology, come from projects in which everything has been controlled. Down Hill, Cross Country, Trekking and every Off the Road discipline are specially analysed to create secure, safe and performance oriented bikes, which can be used for all tours.

BY TRAIN: FREE SURFSEGNANA BUS SERVICE On request at our main office in Torbole our bus will transport you from one surfcentre to another as well as to your hotel and to the trainstation in Rovereto or the busstation in Riva.
