Sacred Sites – The Alchemy Uluru

High-Lore Elder, Nana Violet Newman, took me on an inner-plane journey to the heart of Australia, where she initiated me into the mysteries of Dreamtime Lore for the current times. It occurred to me then this was a familiar place,as I had already visited Uluru during my first Crystal Dreaming session in 2009.

I was surprised to find myself there - the great iron filled rock - rusty red in the desert sun. Around it a torus shaped rainbow; Rainbow Serpent, and emerging from its side as an extension, rainbow beings; the Rainbow Tribe. I make no definitive claims by making this statement I only share my experience and how the energy of Uluru presented itself to me.

Through my Crystal Dreaming experience, these beings proved to be unconditionally loving and agenda-less. They thanked me for being of service. I knew they were referring to my showing up in that moment to receive instruction. I also understood they were referring to my time in the Pilbara region of WA and the influential changes to the community that my presence there had catalysed. They were also referring to things I was yet to do.

They went on to tell me there are energy centres all around Australia, connected to Uluru by songlines (also known as Ley lines or Earth’s meridians). They spoke of another central site that is important and told me I needed to go to all of these places, pay respects to the land and the ancestors and to place my bare feet on the ground, so the Earth there would know me enabling me to call up the energy in the songlines when required. I was given information to pass on to my (then) spiritual Teacher, Shakti Durga, who was about to travel to Uluru on Retreat, to conduct a ceremony.

This experience changed my life trajectory. Shortly thereafter, I found myself coming home from work on the bus reading a book called A Contract to Live, by Christine Bannigan. housemate Millie was there and I was having a huge down pouring of spiritual guidance about Karijong, and its connection to Uluru. Millie had just been to the library and returned with a huge book pertaining to the many Aboriginal Tribes and Countries within Australia. As the information channelled through me, I spoke it out loud and Millie would open the book at a ‘random’ page and fascinatingly, the correlating information to what I was saying would be revealed. It was a most extraordinary experience. It was so accurate and the synchronicities were so bizarrely coordinated, neither of us could ignore it and we resolved to explore further.

I felt compelled to call the Tourism Centre in Karijini National Park. I knew I needed to speak to an elder of that place. As you can imagine, it was quite an unusual phone call; “Hi I’m Freya, I need to find the Custodian of this place, you see I met the Rainbow Serpent and the Rainbow Tribe and they said...”

Once they realised I wasn’t crazy, nor a threat of any kind to Native Title and that my intent was sincere, I was gifted some pearls of wisdom and guidance, for which I am eternally grateful.

I did indeed go on to pass on the information to my teacher, Shakti Durga, who received the information well and as far as I am aware, incorporated it into the process she was guided to do. There had been a Guru from Bali, Sri Jayanara, who had visited Australia and done his own ceremony at Uluru, which Shakti Durga was building upon. During the ceremony, such a profound release occurred in the meridians of the Earth that a great red dust storm was the result, and on Sept 22nd 2009 this spreading red dust, from South Australia’s interior, covered most of the Eastern states.

In Sydney, I awoke from a nap and the sky was an orange-red hue. I thought there was an enormous fire though I could not smell any smoke. When I finally made sense of the situation, realised there was red dust all over my bedroom. The white bedside tables were coated in it and I felt although I didn’t yet know what, that it had to do with the retreat and that I had received a massive blessing. When I moved across Australia, I traversed the great song line that horizontally crosses the continent, visiting many sacred sites along the way. From Sydney to Perth, taking in the Great Ocean Road, the Nullarbor Plain and Great Australian Bight. I also visited one other very special area, in South Australia, at the suggestion of the Rainbow Beings and the Karijini custodian. It’s a large and very important place and one where those pearls of wisdom directed me close to where the dust storm was believed to have originated.
