An Elemental Life
Our theme for the February issue is Spirit and Elementals. I have been aware of these beings around me since early childhood although, for much of my life I have failed to notice how much they were helping my life and therefore understand their place in the scheme of things.
I can remember numerous occasions when I have received a message from Spirit to avoid driving down a road or track for whatever reason and to choose an alternative route. By trusting these messages, I can only imagine what sort of trouble I have avoided. On the flip side of that, I have often asked Spirit for directions and when it felt right to turn, I did so, always arriving safely.
My Spirit team have always been on hand and I know they love the interaction as much I do. For example, I’ve often jumped on my motorbike and asked my Protection Guide to keep me safe and he has always done so. The funny part is that when I ask, I end up with several Spirit People on the bike with me: I can feel their energy sitting behind me in the pillion seat. The first time it happened, I swear the bike’s back end went down then up again!
The Spirit World, the
Elemental World, has continued to fascinate me. As a kid, I watched animal documentaries and imagined a world where we could all communicate together and live in peace – a pipe dream maybe? I know, yet I wanted to be a part of this
remarkable space. It wasn’t until years later that I discovered the elementals bridge the gap between the Spirit World and our Physical World.

Once I discovered this, it opened up a whole new world to explore and understand. One of the best experiences I have had with an Elemental Being - and I have had bucket loads - was at a friend’s place enjoying a Reflexology session. I was in a super relaxed state when I noticed that just one frond on a large fern outside the treatment room was waving – waving at me! It took a moment for my senses to come to terms with that and when I allowed myself to drift a little deeper into my relax mode, I spotted an Elf, riding the frond like a horse, waving his hat and laughing. It was a special moment in my life and just one of many I could rattle on about.
Welcome aboard Charles!
Some exciting news is we have a new columnist coming to Supernal. Charles Snelleksz-Mathelot, co-Founder Gaian Heart Wisdom, has lived an extraordinary life and we are over the moon to have him on the team. He writes about Living in the Gaian Mind and his first column,
Gaia Consciousness – The Divine Web of
Life explains how this plays a pivotal role in our lives on this planet. Read a little about Charles in his bio on Page 52.
Charles is also writing a second column to be published in our next issue on Gardening by the Seasons. Charles and his wife Christel, run a business where they work from the six seasons based upon wisdom from indigenous culture understanding the birds, animals and Earth consciousness to grow healthy foods and plants. This will run bi-monthly.
There’s a lot more in this issue to educate and tickle the brain cells into thinking differently – enjoy!
Donations
Supernal has managed to survive through COVID affected 2020 and we are approaching our second birthday. Now that things are slowly getting better, we’ve realised that the cost of running the magazine has gone up. We are currently looking at other ways to support the magazine, moving into the future. Three different people advised me to set up a Go Fund Me page or similar and at first I wasn’t keen on the idea. Now though, as we move into 2021, I realise it is necessary to ask for some support to keep going.
We’ve also created a specific PayPal account with a donation button available. If you as a reader would like to help support Supernal, this is a great way to start.
All donations will be much appreciated and support the running costs of the magazine. I also want to say that these running costs do not include paying me! I’ve always enjoyed the magazine being free to whoever wants to read it. We intend to keep it that way!
In the meantime, thanks for reading and please keep sharing Supernal so we can keep creating an educational, fun and enlightening magazine!
Have a Supernal February and we hope you enjoy having Spirit and Elementals in your lives!
