February is the month of St Valentine, the heart and a box of chocolates. It’s the dark centre, the heart full of love and pierced with an arrow. It is up; it is down - deep, powerful and vulnerable at the same time. It is lunar tone and lunar mind, polarised and decisively indecisive! Two little ducks are a pair; one is a lonely duck on the lookout for a mate. And yet, one of two can feel so alone if one is not in alignment with oneself. Two can make the story twice as hard to follow and the path too bumpy to stroll.

When one turns into two, let that one make sure that it is to create something fabulous from two, such as three, four or more, not merely to try and make one better, happier or more than it already is. Two will gravitate, magnify, draw unto and repel at the same time. It’s the single cell splitting and the twin flame, the two-faced and thing one and thing two, but more than anything at all, it is the Mother. Divine feminine incarnate, the womb and the deep warmth of tender loving care.

Rosemary Anne ‘Rosie’ Batty, AO, was born in England (Laneham, Nottinghamshire) in 1962. A staunch campaigner against domestic violence, her journey started in 2014 after the death of her son Luke (11yo) who was murdered by his father.

Rosie’s stance to make all people aware of hidden domestic violence in homes has been nothing short of amazing. Rosie received the Officer of the Order of Australia in 2019 and continues to stand up and work to support social change and awareness against all forms of domestic violence.
