We will be playing 10 rounds of golf on six different courses so there will be plenty of variety to test your golfing skill. The group has its own transport, so lots of sightseeing and exploring the region, including the Atherton Tablelands. Cairns is a city of 100,000 people, has four large shopping centres and lots of great attractions which include the Great Barrier Reef, the Kuranda Scenic Railway, Skyway Rainforest Cableway, the Daintree River, the Northern beaches and Port Douglas to name just a few – and of course there is plenty of time for just relaxing. Included in your trip is a welcoming get-together and an end-of-tour prizegiving, as well as a happy hour most evenings.

Ten years for Acorn Foundation Twenty oak trees will be planted next Friday in a newly established commemorative oak grove for the city at the new Cambridge Park to mark the Acorn Foundation’s first 10 years in operation in the Bay. The Tauranga City Council has designated a portion of Cambridge Park for the oak grove and Acorn Foundation Operations Manager Margot McCool says every year more trees will be planted in memory of those donors who have passed away over the preceding year. “It’s a wonderful legacy to those donors,” says Margot.
