SUNTIMES

A Letter From Mark

Summer of 2026 at Suncadia will bring a wave of exciting additions and more chances for lasting memories with the opening of Suncadia Social, our new retail and social gathering place. In this edition of SUNTIMES, we’re thrilled to share full details about the restaurants and shops we’re welcoming in as part of Suncadia Social, all curated to enhance the quality of our already exceptional community.

In each of the following articles, we’re shining a spotlight on the specific retailers that will operate in this highly anticipated community hub – including a long-awaited boutique grocery store! You’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the owners and operators of these new additions and why they’re excited to become part of the fabric of Suncadia.

When it came time to take the steps toward realizing the vision of Suncadia

Social, it was important to us that we were thoughtful in our approach. Ensuring this new development made sense for both the existing community and prospective new residents was our top priority. For the past two years, we solicited, met with, and negotiated many potential tenants, carefully

and operators who would fit seamlessly into the community.

From the outset of the planning process for Suncadia Social, we wholeheartedly embraced the spirit of “it takes a village.”

We want each of us who touches Suncadia Social, from the planning to

reviewing each one with diligence and discernment. Our guiding principle and top priority throughout the search process went beyond merely finding the right mix of shopping and dining options; our mandate was to find owners

the construction to residents to our guests, to fully adopt a collective spirit of placemaking, for that is what produces the true heart of a vibrant community.

Over the past two years, it has been a pleasure and an honor to personally get to know each of the individuals you’ll be reading about in this special edition. I am excited to have the opportunity to introduce you to them. They are all sole proprietors with enduring and unshakeable roots in the Pacific Northwest. Their enterprises are both their careers and their passions. They have a deep love for the businesses they’ve built and cultivated, as well as for Suncadia—an incredibly powerful synergy. Many of these owners will invest in homes within Suncadia, meaning they won’t just be your neighbors, but over time, they’ll also become your friends.

I am excited for you to read their stories and learn more about your future neighbors. I know you’ll enjoy getting to know them as I have.

Sincerely,

THE SUN NEVER SETS

When Suncadia’s story began 25 years ago, fostering a spirit of belonging throughout the region socially, culturally, and economically lay at the heart of the community. From being responsible stewards of the land, driving job growth to inviting curious visitors and residents alike to explore, connect, and discover, community has always been the pulse of Suncadia.

It was that focus on community that inspired the development of an exciting new addition, Suncadia Social, a transformative boutique retail and social hub slated to debut in Summer of 2026.

Above all, according to Mark Thorne, Suncadia Managing Director, Suncadia Social is meant to nurture meaningful connections.

“Suncadia Social is all about hanging out,” said Thorne. “It’s where residents, guests, friends, and neighbors come together to enjoy a bite and share some friendly conversation while immersing themselves in the natural beauty of the community. Cultivating connections and a sense of kinship is the heartbeat of Suncadia and Suncadia Social will elevate that legacy to an inspiring new level.”

Located steps from the Lodge at Suncadia, Suncadia Social represents an $18 million investment in the community.

Encompassing 11 acres, Suncadia Social will feature serene greenbelt walkways winding through a village of 42 residences (25 bungalows and 17 rowhomes).

Suncadia incorporated New Urbanism influences into the neighborhood plan, which focuses on creating sustainable, walkable, and mixed-use communities.

The communal space will feature a common green area, a designated space for concerts and events, and sitting areas with fire pits, perfect for roasting marshmallows with the kids or sharing bottles of pinot with friends and neighbors. Extending this spirit of connection into the residential neighborhood, a prominent feature of this mix of residences will be welcoming porches that invite spontaneous conversations and neighborly connections. Whether it’s a wave to a passerby or a long chat on a summer evening, these spaces are meant to revive the simple, meaningful interactions that make a place a community.

Curated Retail Experience

At the heart of Suncadia Social will be a vibrant retail village covering 16,500 square feet across six high-efficiency buildings. Featuring a unique, Cascade Mountain-inspired mix of shops and restaurants, this bustling hub is meant to encourage local shopping, dining, and

ultimately, creating the perfect vibe for hanging out with neighbors and guests.

According to Thorne, on-site retail and dining options have been the number one request from residents and honoring that wish became the inspiration in developing Suncadia Social. He notes that in creating vibrant new spaces for residents and guests, it was important to pay homage to Suncadia, the Pacific Northwest, and the surrounding communities of Cle Elum and Roslyn.

“We wanted to be thoughtful and discerning in our approach to bringing in retail and dining into Suncadia,” said Thorne. “It was crucial that the aesthetics and vibe of Suncadia Social seamlessly integrated with the existing community, but also, that the proprietors had deep roots in and meaningful connections to the region and were a reflection of the Suncadia ethos. We feel we accomplished that goal and more with the retailers we’ve brought in, and we’re thrilled to forge these new partnerships with them.”

The shopping and dining of Suncadia Social include:

G.H. Pasta & Pizza, and a sit-down restaurant, both from General Harvest Restaurants, founded by award-winning chef and restaurateur, Brian Clevenger. The family friendly G.H. Pasta & Pizza will feature favorites like spaghetti and pepperoni pizza made with fresh, local ingredients, along with a wide selection of beers on tap. The second eatery will focus on an upscale dining experience showcasing sustainably sourced proteins and seasonal produce.

“I truly believe Suncadia Social is going to take Suncadia to the next level and turn it into a true global destination. There’s something really inspiring about that and I’m thrilled to be part of telling that story.” – Brian Clevenger, General Harvest Restaurants

Suncadia Social Grocery Store Aims to Bring Personal Touch to Shopping Experience

When Suncadia first approached Amanda Heins about opening a grocery store as part of Suncadia Social, she was intrigued. As the longtime owner of The Roslyn Grocery in Roslyn, which has been the go-to shop for many Suncadia residents over the years, she was well aware of the clamor for an on-site grocery store. Becoming a part of Suncadia would not only expand her footprint in the community (since her current grocery in Roslyn will remain in place), it would also allow her the opportunity to give back to the residents who have supported her over the years.

“The new location in Suncadia is a natural next step in our journey and one we’re incredibly excited about,” said Heins. “We’ve had the privilege of serving so many members of the Suncadia community for years at our original store and over time, they’ve become regulars, familiar faces, and friends. This new location gives us the space to serve them even better, as well as the entire upper county, with the same personal touch we’ve become known for.”

Suncadia Social Community

Occupying 5,000 sf within Suncadia Social, this new full-service boutique grocery store will offer a thoughtfully curated selection of groceries including dairy, local favorites, and a wide variety of regional beers and wines. The new space will also dedicate a significant portion of its square footage to carrying fresh, local produce.

Customers can also expect fresh bread baked in-house, handcrafted sandwiches and salads, and a variety of homemade pastries. In addition to a focus on natural and organic offerings, the store will also cater to a wide variety of specialty diets including vegan, gluten-free, and keto.

Another major component of the new location will be a mini teaching kitchen, an exciting culinary space that will allow the store to host cooking demos for small groups, wine tastings, and classes on charcuterie design, cookie decorating, and more.

“I always say that we’re not a convenience store, but we are a store of convenience,” said Heins. “This new space allows us to take that experience to amazing new heights.”

The Personal Touch

Heins intends for the new Suncadia Social location to pay tribute to a time when grocery shopping wasn’t a chore, but rather, a community experience highlighted by exceptional service.

It was that same desire that planted the seeds for The Roslyn Grocery. Heins and her late husband, Matthew, opened the store in 2013 on the strength of the dream to help make Roslyn a more walkable, connected town. As young parents with two little daughters, The Heins’s wanted to build a business that would serve both their family and the community as a whole. They sought to pay homage to the general stores of yesterday by bringing everyday essentials right into the heart of town, making it possible for locals and visitors alike to get everything they needed without leaving Roslyn. Over time, the town became a thriving landscape rooted in community, connection, and sustainability.

The vibe of Suncadia Social meshes perfectly with that aesthetic, which is why Heins and her business partner and fiancé, Jamey Mays, were eager to immerse themselves in a community they’re already comfortable with and connected to.

“We’ve always been about that personal experience, where, when you come into the store, someone is helping you find what you need and is dedicated to what you want,” Heins said. “We’ll open up your carton of eggs to make sure they’re not cracked before we send them out the door with you. We’ll brainstorm dinner ideas with you. It’s about inviting customers to come in and explore and interact and get to know each other, as opposed to grocery shopping just being another ‘to do’ on your checklist.”

Heins says she and Mays can’t wait to get started.

“We’re incredibly excited to be partnering with Suncadia and to be a part of this next chapter, not just for The Roslyn Grocery, but for the broader community we love serving. This project gives us the space we’ve long dreamed of, and with it, the ability to carry more products, highlight even more local and specialty items, and truly elevate what we do.”

Famed Seattle Chef to Bring Culinary Experiences Rooted in Community to Suncadia Social

Chef Brian Clevenger believes there are three crucial elements that go into the making of an exceptional restaurant: focusing on quality ingredients, a dedication to great technique, and providing high value.

And he’s ready to showcase all three at his two new Suncadia Social eateries.

Clevenger, owner of General Harvest Restaurants, an award-winning restaurant group that includes Vendemmia, East Anchor Seafood, Raccolto, Autumn, G. H. Pasta & Pizza, Haerfest, and Eldr., is thrilled to be a part of Suncadia Social, feeling the community aligns seamlessly with his current portfolio of eateries and his focus on providing diners with distinctive and memorable meals that bring people together.

“We’re really excited to bring an exceptional dining experience to Suncadia while staying true to who we are as a company by focusing on what we do best,” said Clevenger. “Something that has always drawn me to the restaurant industry is the ability to positively affect a guest’s day with a great experience. That lines up effortlessly with the Suncadia vibe. It really is the perfect match.”

Clevenger will introduce a second location of his popular West Seattle eatery G.H. Pasta & Pizza to Suncadia Social, . Known for its house extruded pastas, sourdough pizzas, and familiar starters using seasonal and local ingredients, G.H. Pasta & Pizza will offer a relaxed and inviting atmosphere ideal for families or celebratory group occasions like girl’s night out or birthday parties.

His second Suncadia Social restaurant will offer a sit-down dinner service with a focus on seasonable, sustainably sourced proteins, high-end spirits, and thoughtfully plated dishes that incorporate many of the techniques Clevenger acquired during his time working in a Michelin rated restaurant in France, making it perfect for date night and a respite from the hustle and bustle of a busy day.

Clevenger, who signed his first restaurant lease when he was 29 years old, has steadily built an impressive roster of restaurants in the Seattle area over the past several years. In addition to training in France, he worked at the James Beard Award-winning restaurant, Delfina in San Francisco, won “StarChefs” Rising Star Chef award for Restauranteur, and served as head chef at Seattle’s James Beard-nominated Staple & Fancy.

Through the years, Clevenger and his family have visited Suncadia several times enjoying the laid-back lifestyle the community has to offer (“especially the golf.”) It was that familiarity with Suncadia that enticed Clevenger to expand the General Harvest brand beyond Seattle, as he was ready for a “destination spot.” And while both restaurants will have their own distinctive identities with loyalty programs and unique programming, Clevenger says his vision for each is that they embody the spirit of a favorite neighborhood hangout.

“These restaurants belong to the Suncadia community,” Clevenger said. “We want residents and guests to feel as though, after a few rounds of golf, or a day at the pool, they can pop in, grab a beer and a delicious meal and feel at home while doing so. That’s the ambience we bring to all our eateries because we believe dining out should be an easy and enjoyable experience. Our Suncadia Social restaurants will be no exception.”

Celebrate Exceptional Washington Wines at Alluvium Cellars

What better way to celebrate the natural grandeur of Suncadia than with a glass of award-winning Washington wine! And residents and visitors will be able to do just that at Alluvium Cellars’ Suncadia Social location.

Alluvium Cellars takes its name from Washington’s fertile alluvial soils that contribute to the flavor and complexities of its wine. The rising star winery is the brainchild of Tyson and Brittany Trautmann. Long-time wine enthusiasts, the Trautmanns began experimenting with winemaking in their garage. Discovering they loved it and had a natural aptitude for the craft, Alluvium

Cellars as a boutique operation. Tyson leaned on his technology engineering background and enrolled in an enology course at the University of California, Davis, while Brittany brought her creative vision as a designer to the aesthetic of their wine tasting room, labels, and overall brand.

Tyson said, “When we launched Alluvium Cellars, we talked about what our points of differentiation would be. We wanted to offer a unique ambience, enhanced club structure, and, most importantly, wines showcasing the exceptional terroir of Washington’s Columbia Valley.”

Brittany brings her interior design background to the winery. “Tyson’s an amazing winemaker and he gets to be creative with that. I take our story, brand, and ambience to further distinguish Alluvium Cellars. Our new space at Suncadia Social will reflect the aesthetic of our other spaces with a modern rustic feel that coordinates well with the homes in Suncadia.”

Offering a Unique Winetasting Experience

Visitors to Alluvium Cellars at Suncadia Social will enjoy a unique tasting experience – Brittany’s brainchild. Four, two-ounce pours are served in test tubes, accompanied by a glass. Tasters pour the wine into the glass, drinking at their own pace. Then Alluvium Cellars wine experts come around and talk about the wines.

Suncadia Social visitors may also want to take advantage of Alluvium Cellars wine club offering, designed to create a community for wine lovers. Like most wine clubs, there is a fee for monthly shipments, but it also offers perks, such as free monthly tastings, discounted winery event tickets, and access to club member events.

Showcasing the Complex Terroir of Washington’s Columbia Valley

Not only are the Trautmanns sole proprietors, they are hands on. “We do all production in-house – even though we don’t currently grow the fruit,” Tyson said. “We work with seven or eight of

Washington’s premier vineyards, and in the fall, I'm driving over the mountains every weekend visiting vineyards. We do have plans, however, to plant an estate vineyard on Brittany’s family property, which is all alluvial soil.”

Asked what her favorite Alluvium Cellars wine is, Brittany quickly replied, “I love all of our children equally,” before admitting, “my heart speaks to our Alluvium Cellars Allegory Mourvèdre 2022. I have always been Mourvèdre fan, but something special came out of that bottle.”

Tyson said his wife’s favorite is madefrom a vineyard in Coyote Canyon in Horse Heaven Hills, where they grow the best Mourvèdre grape in the state And while he also likes the Mourvèdre, he is also a big fan of their 2022 Arcane Cabernet Franc, which comes from Railroad Vineyard in Red Mountain AVA and Rosebud Vinyard in the Wahluke Slope AVA.

When Suncadia Social opens in the spring of 2026, the founders of Alluvium Cellars will bring these and more of their Washington state wines to the mountain resort where they have long been frequent visitors. Tyson said, “Many of our friends have places at Suncadia and we love to escape there and enjoy nature. We felt like it was a good match to have a place there where you can go, relax, and sip a good glass of wine.”

Out West Trading Co. Comes Full Circle at Suncadia Social

“What’s so great about the Suncadia community, and what’s going to be so wonderful about Suncadia Social, is the opportunity to explore and be inspired by what you find. We’re explorers ourselves, so we definitely wanted to be a part of this community where nurturing curiosity is celebrated.”

It was a passion for exploration that spurred Jamie Munson, owner of Out West Trading Co., to bring his resort boutique to Suncadia Social. With a focus on outfitting their customer’s next adventure, Munson said because Out West Trading Co. works hard to curate an apparel, headwear, and gift collection meant to meet customers where they are, forging a partnership with Suncadia was a natural fit.

Munson said that customers of the Suncadia Social location can expect to find clothing and gifts that blend the urban side of Seattle with the peaceful retreat vibe of Suncadia, whether it’s comfy sweatshirts, Athleisure wear, or stylish golf polos, they will have something to match every mood.

“At Suncadia, adventure is how you define it, whether it’s immersing yourself in the serenity of the greenbelt or lounging by the firepit with a book while wrapped in cozy PJ’s, you can create whatever experience you’re craving,” Munson said. “We want to offer gifts and apparel that encourage that exploration, all while making the experience just a little more comfortable, a little more fashionable.”

Outfitting a New Adventure

The path to success with Out West Trading Co. began with a failed startup retail business in Seattle that Munson was part of focused on licensed sports apparel.

That disappointment brought Munson to his mentor, Michel Brotman, who owned a retail company called Simply Seattle. Munson rose through the ranks to become General Manager before he eventually bought out Brotman. Under Munson, the brand grew to become a fixture in Seattle, which led him to an opportunity with the owner of a similar store in Sun Valley, Idaho, who was

looking to sell. The Montana native says he fell in love with Sun Valley, becoming so inspired by the region’s natural beauty, he bought that store and decided to rebrand it as Out West Trading Co.

A winning strategy for the retailer has centered around carving out space in popular resort towns like Bozeman, Whitefish, Leavenworth, Walla Walla, Sandpoint, and Palm Springs (the Suncadia Social site will be the company’s eighth store). While these locations are already brimming with souvenir and shops, the key to Munson’s success has been in sourcing items that appeal to both guests and locals that can’t be found at every other store in town.

“The goal is to have something that every single person who walks in the store can find something that's just right for them. We always want to present our customer with an elevated experience and Suncadia Social fits that aesthetic perfectly,” said Munson.

Connecting with Suncadia Social

Something else Munson is excited to offer to Suncadia Social is Out West Trading Co.’s sister company, 'Old Wood Signs’, which creates vintage signs. Calling it “a really cool addition to the community,” Munson said all of the artwork is customizable, encouraging an exceptional décor experience.

“For anyone looking to decorate their home at Suncadia or if you’re inspired by fly fishing, cycling, or the national parks, we can help our customers curate and customize pieces that are completely personal and totally unique,” he said.

Noting how impressed he is with the way the Suncadia Social shops have been curated, Munson says he is thrilled to become a lasting part of Suncadia.

“It’s really exciting to be a part of the vision of the Suncadia community,” he said. “It feels great to be here.”

Community

Creating Community with a Good Cup of Coffee at Cutters Point

“It is our commitment to make a customer’s bad day good, and their good day great,” is the mission for all employees at Cutters Point Coffee Company. Founded 30 years ago in Gig Harbor, Washington, the coffee shop will create a community-focused environment where guests can savor their coffee and spend their time together at its Suncadia Social location.

Owner Justin Himenes believes what is unique about a coffee shop is that the vibe builds community – his vision is to create a welcoming space where the team recognizes frequent visitors by name and remembers their orders. The inviting environment will translate to a gathering spot where guests can linger, connect with new friends, and unwind over a quality cup of coffee, a delicious pastry, or refreshing ice cream.

“We want our customers to visit, stay for a couple of hours, and build community and culture with us. That is why we really hone in on how we furnish and decorate our locations to create a welcoming and comfortable experience,” Himenes said.

Besides the focus on community, part of what differentiates Cutters Point from other coffee shops is that they directly source their beans from farmers around the globe who share a vision of producing extraordinary coffee using responsible growing practices. Artisan

roasted in small batches by a master roaster carefully bring out the nuances of each coffee varietal.

Building on the Suncadia Culture of Community

Cutters Point Coffee also plans to connect beyond Suncadia and hire its team locally. In addition, they are going to source the location’s baked goods and ice cream from local businesses.

Besides being a proprietor at Suncadia Social, Himenes and his family have long vacationed here, which he feels gives him a unique pulse on the needs of the community. In fact, the Himenes family took becoming a part of the Suncadia community so seriously, they recently purchased a home here.

As far as Cutter’s Point Coffee Company becoming an integral part of Suncadia Social, Himenes sees the need for community building as greater than ever right now.

“I really began to see people valuing community more after the pandemic. People realized how much they missed the connection with their neighbors, and people often turn to the coffee shop for connections and community,” he said. ”I’ve always been impressed with Suncadia’s dedication to community and as a homeowner and a proprietor within Suncadia Social, we share that same commitment.”

Sustainability and Stewardship at Suncadia

Creating and maintaining a thriving and healthy environment for our residents and guests extends beyond the environs of Suncadia. It encompasses the breathtaking natural landscapes of our surrounding community and for all those who call Kittitas County home. Suncadia is a passionate supporter of the Kittitas Conservation Trust (KCT), which for the past 22 years, has dedicated itself to preserving and restoring the region’s natural landscapes and critical habitats. Suncadia is proud to support the vital work that KCT carries out on behalf of protecting our unique environment.

Hive HomeGoods to Bring Inspirational Twist to Suncadia Social

One of the most exciting aspects of interior design is the opportunity to be creative and put a personal stamp on your living space. With the inclusion of Hive HomeGoods to the shops at Suncadia Social, residents can tap into a high-end design experience that will enhance the distinctive style of their home at Suncadia.

In addition, Hive HomeGoods is the perfect one-stop shop for small batch pantry goods and special gifts for every occasion, from housewarming parties to birthdays to anniversaries.

After a decades-long career working with major retailers, Katie Rockwell, owner of Hive HomeGoods, sought to apply her extensive corporate background toward developing an unparalleled shopping experience for customers at the Suncadia Social location that went beyond just selling accessories and household items, but rather, displaying innovative merchandising ideas to spur customers toward their own creativity.

“I wanted to create a store environment that delights all the senses and inspires our customer’s imaginations to take root and explore,” said Rockwell. “This is also why we focus on buying and supporting other small businesses, so you won’t find our products at other big retailers. I really strive to find unique items that are beautiful yet functional but are not crazy expensive.”

Another essential element of the Hive HomeGoods aesthetic is drawing inspiration from the Pacific Northwest lifestyle, with a focus on showcasing products that embrace sustainability, social responsibility, adventure, nature, and a sense of community. It’s those aspects of Hive HomeGoods that Rockwell says make her store a natural alignment with Suncadia.

“I believe Suncadia Social and Hive HomeGoods are a perfect fit because we both embrace and celebrate the best aspects of the Pacific Northwest lifestyle,” said Rockwell. “From our lush green space, beautiful mountains, vibrant culinary scene, and unique blend of both rural and urban sensibilities, we really do get the best of both worlds here. NW Roots Construction: Building Homes. Building Community. Proud to Call Suncadia Home.

For Bobby Graham, founder and CEO of NW Roots Construction, building homes in Suncadia isn’t just business—it’s personal. After moving from Gig Harbor in 2017 with his wife, Jennie, and their four children—Jason, Jackson, Charlotte, and Johnny—the Graham family embraced full-time life in the mountains and quickly immersed themselves in the Suncadia community.

“We didn’t just relocate—we dove in,” Bobby shares. “Living here has brought our family even closer. From biking and hiking to golf and lake days, there’s no shortage of ways to explore and connect. Best of all, the kids can’t ever say they’re bored!”

Since settling in Suncadia, Graham and his team at NW Roots Construction have built more than 45 homes across Suncadia and Tumble Creek,

earning a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and a deep respect for the natural landscape. Every project reflects an abiding commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable building practices, always with the client’s vision at the forefront.

“I founded NW Roots on three principles I learned in the Air Force— Integrity, Service, and Excellence,” Bobby explains. “Our mantra is simple: If it’s the right thing to do, do it. That value guides everything we build.”

This unwavering focus has earned NW Roots Construction Builder of the Year honors from the Central Washington Home Builders Association (CWHBA) in both 2022 and 2024. Bobby has also served in leadership roles locally

Welcoming New Real Estate Agents to the Suncadia Team

We’re excited to welcome three new brokers to Suncadia Real Estate Company! Our brokers work exclusively with Suncadia – for both buyers and sellers. They know this community inside and out and have unparalleled expertise and experience. Whatever your needs might be, our brokers are ready day and night to help!

Ashley Brenden - Real Estate Agent

For the past 13 years, Ashley Brenden has been a real estate agent in the Greater King County area, specializing in guiding clients through one of the most significant decisions of their lives—buying or selling a home.

When asked what her favorite thing is about Suncadia, she noted, “Suncadia is a unique blend of natural beauty, strong community, and outdoor lifestyle. The sense of community here is truly special; people connect easily, and there's a shared appreciation for everything Suncadia has to offer. It’s a place where you can slow down, enjoy the moment, and feel right at home.”

Ashley shared that, in addition to her real estate career, she’s worked as a

hairstylist in Bellevue for the past 20 years and that in her spare time, she’s currently learning to ride horses again, saying, “It’s been an exciting journey to reconnect with something I loved in the past, and I’m enjoying every moment of it.”

Maren Deaver - Real Estate Agent

For the past 25 years, Maren Deaver has been licensed in residential real estate in Washington state and for 15 of those years, she worked in new construction sales for a national home builder.

Maren says her familiarity with the Suncadia community is what she is most looking forward to highlighting in her new position.

“Probably the most exciting thing for me about being a broker at Suncadia is selling in my own back yard!” Maren said. “Suncadia offers something for everyone – whether you want a quiet getaway in order to recharge, or an active calendar of events, you can choose your own adventure. The addition of Suncadia Social will bring a whole new level of excitement to the community.”

as President of the CWHBA, at the state level with the Building Industry Association of Washington (BIAW), and nationally through the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), where he has advocated for responsible building practices, smart regional growth, and builder-friendly policies. Bobby also holds a Master’s degree in Project Management, a foundation that informs his team’s disciplined, clientcentered approach to project delivery and operational excellence.

Beyond building homes, the Graham family is passionate about building community. Bobby serves on local boards and supports a wide range of initiatives across Upper Kittitas County. Through NW Roots, the team contributes to projects that benefit local families— helping fund education programs, recreation spaces, and community resources that make this region an even better place to live.

“We’re not just building homes—we’re helping build a community,” Bobby says. “That’s important to us as a family, and as a company.”

Suncadia Social: Homes Designed for Connection, Adventure, and Beauty

NW Roots Construction’s deep roots in Suncadia made them the natural choice to design and build The Residences at Suncadia Social—an inspired collection

of 25 mountain bungalows and 17 row houses that reflect the spirit of the resort: connected, adventurous, and rooted in natural beauty.

The homes draw inspiration from Suncadia’s lush landscape, sweeping views, and abundance of natural light. Each residence features expansive front porches, covered patios, and tall ceilings, with reclaimed wood accents thoughtfully integrated throughout the beams, fireplace mantels, and mudrooms. Early buyers can further personalize their home by choosing between Modern Mountain and Rustic finish packages—each designed to feel warm, timeless, and perfectly suited to the lifestyle of this community.

“Watching Suncadia Social come to life has been incredibly rewarding,” Bobby says. “Because my family lives here, these homes feel especially personal. We’re creating spaces where families can live, connect, and thrive—just as we have. I’m proud to build here, and even prouder to call Suncadia home.”

Today, with homes already going under contract and new opportunities on the horizon, NW Roots Construction remains committed to building homes— and a better future—for the community they love.

Maren believes being born and raised in Washington offers a unique perspective to her clients.

“I was born and raised in Washington and love the outdoors, so I’m a Washingtonian through and through. I can’t wait to help future Suncadia residents find their own adventure.”

Dawn Wandasan - Real Estate Agent

Before joining Suncadia, Dawn Wandasan lived and worked as a Lifestyle Real Estate Broker on the island of Kaua’i. In her new role, she will

be working as a land broker for both Tumble Creek and Suncadia.

Dawn appreciates Suncadia’s natural beauty, and the small town feel she left in the islands. She looks forward to the opportunity to introduce the local community to prospective residents!

"What’s not to love? Suncadia is a gorgeous community abundant with breathtaking natural beauty and amazing opportunities, and warm, friendly people,” she said. “As I like to say, you come to Suncadia for the nature and you stay for the community.”
