SCA R anks #1 in the Top Private Schools List for the K ansas City Area
F
or the second year in a row, SCA has been ranked first in the Kansas City Metro area private schools list by the Kansas City Business Journal. This is the tenth consecutive year that SCA has been ranked as a top five private school. The Kansas City Business Journal’s annual compilation of private schools, The List,
determines school rankings based on fall enrollment figures submitted from each institution. Various other characteristics are also noted, including student to teacher ratio, tuition, and academic curriculum. “Great kids and families, and great faculty and staff, with God's grace and blessings, has produced growth that is more than we could ever ask
or imagine,” shared SCA Head of School Mr. Chris Hahn. “We celebrate the partnership with our parents and embrace the privilege and responsibility to care for their children. I believe that what happens here through our teachers, with God's grace and blessing, results in lives changed, and heaven becoming bigger.”

NJHS Members Serve the Community
Each semester, National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) members must participate in a group service project and one individual service event. In December, 15 members of the NJHS volunteered at Coldwater of Lee's Summit. Students helped prepare the food pantry for clients coming to receive food, helped clients shop for groceries, and delivered them to their vehicles. Coldwater is a faith-based nonprofit that serves the needy in the Lee's Summit community by providing food and used clothing throughout the year.
