TRADITIONAL TOUR

The origins of this type of balcony can be traced back to the Muslim world, related to Arabic latticework and also to the small balconies of the Canary Islands. There were balconies so large that some of them even turned the corners of the manor houses.

Generally, they were made by Spanish and aboriginal carpenters, they were built open or closed, flat, box-like, curved or against corners, also with glass or even with blinds. For reasons of privacy, in the century XVII they began being covered until being totally closed.
