AUCTIONEER’S CONDITIONS OF SALE 1. The stock will be exposed according to the lots and numbers in the following cata‑ logue and the highest offer on each lot will be preferred to the purchaser. 2. All animals are at the risk of the vendor before sale and at the risk of the purchaser after the sale. 4. The service dates, while believed to be correct, cannot however, be guaranteed. 5. No lots shall be removed from the sale premises until a written delivery order has been given by or on behalf of the Auctioneers. 12. All statements in the catalogue or made by the auctioneer at the time of sale relating to any animal are believed to be correct. No sale shall be invalidated by reason of any defect or faults in any of the animals by reason of any of the animals being incorrectly described in the catalogue, or by the Auctioneer in the ring, and no compensation whatever shall be paid in respect of any faults or errors of description. 14. All shearlings are sold as having being scanned in lamb. No guarantee beyond that date can however, be given in this regard. 15. All animals are sold as they stand, the Purchaser is deemed to have examined each animal and fully satisfied himself about the animal prior to sale. 16. Subsequent purchases of females from dispersal and production sales saw the addition of top quality bloodlines from at home and the UK. Shannagh & Castleisle Suffolk’s The Shannagh/Castleisle flocks continue to be at the forefront of Irish Suffolk’s, since 2005 at Roscrea Premier Sale the flocks have won the novice class, the open ram lamb class on 5 occasions, the overall champion 4 times, reserve overall champion three times, group of three & reserve female champion, whilst in 2010 we secured the 2nd & 3rd top prices selling for €4,300 & €3,000. In the last 9 years the flocks have secured the top or 2nd top averages at the Roscrea Premier Sale on 8 occasions. 2013 has been one of our most succesfull years to date, with our three rams in Stirling acheiving the 6th top average of £2,590. Annakisha/Clyda Suffolks Foreword The Annakisha Flock which was established in 1952 by the late Arthur O’Keeffe and the Clyda Flock which was founded by Susan O’Keeffe in 1988 have won 14 Championships and 10 Reserves at the RDS and National Championships. Many other successes for both flocks followed, the most notable of recent years being; 9 Times winner of the Male and Supreme Champion at the Premier Show and Sale, 10 times Reserve 10 Times winner of Female Champion Premier Show and Sale 8 Times winner of the Group of Three Ram Lambs at the Premier Show and Sale, 6 Times Reserve 6 Times winner of Sire of the Year, 3 Times Reserve and 4 times winner of Homebred Sire of the Year 14 Times winner of the Female of the Year, 13 times Reserve The Clyda flock has won the Champion Irish Flock and Champion ewe lambs 5 times with the Annakisha Flock Reserve once. The Clyda was Reserve Bristol Gold Cup and won the Sainsbury Cup. We have not entered the Flock competition since 1999 due to time constraints. Clyda Wishmaster (95321) ARR/ARR Champion Ram Lamb and Reserve Male Champion at National Championships 2010. He has bred exceptionally well siring second prize ram lamb and Reserve Supreme Champion at the 2011 National Championships and Champion Shearling Ewe National Championships 2013. Solwaybank Super Sensation (94885) ARR/ARR A much admired son of the 62000gns Cairness Castello. He was purchased 2010. He has developed into a very big ram with great head and presence, traits he has passed on to his progeny.
