Breeding reports were sparse b u t included 293 pairs in Sudbury (295 in 2008 a n d 301 in 2 0 0 7 ) a n d a d e c l i n e to j u s t 17 p a i r s at N o r t h W a r r e n and Aldringham Walks ( 3 2 in 2008 a n d 2 7 in 2007). TREE SPARROW Passer montanus Uncommon and declining resident. Scarce passage migrant. Red List. A n extremely encouraging year with reports from 27 " localities with several large flocks reported f r o m the west of the county.
