PAGADIAN City––Every consumer must be conscious of the safety of meat sold in the market and that it should undergo meat inspection to ensure that it is safe for human consumption. This was the gist of the message of Dr. Arturo S. De Jesus Jr, Regional Technical Director of the National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) in a media forum held at Anastacia Pension House and Restaurant on Oct. 7 to drumbeat the celebration of the 41st National Meat Safety Consciousness Week.
