CAGAYAN de Oro City––A lawmaker has filed a resolution urging the Supreme Court of the Philippines to consider the simultaneous holding of the bar examination outside Manila. Rep. Rufus Rodriguez, of Cagayan De Oro City, said on Tuesday that the House Resolution No. 1023 sought the simultaneous holding of the bar examinations in Manila, Cebu, and Cagayan De Oro City. Section 11, Rule 138 (Attorneys and Admission to BAR) of the Rules of Court provide that, “Examinations for admission to the bar of the Philippines shall take place annually in the City of Manila, Rodriguez said.
