The contraband arrived at the Mindanao Container Terminal, a sub-port under the jurisdiction of BOC10, in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental, said Cris Angelo Andrade, the bureau’s regional information officer. Andrade said the cargo has no import papers and other documents, prompting the Customs to declare it as a “pre-lodged shipment.” FORLAND brand makes a courtesy visit to Mindanao Daily Express Transport Coop Prior to the contraband’s erative offering Class 2 model to the Board of Directors led by Dante Sudaria, the arrival, the BOC-10 district coop Chairman and likewise the publisher and CEO of BusinessWeek Mindanao and See SEIZED, page 11

ceutical responses being adapted by his administration, Mayor Seno also cited the gains of his seventh year as local chief executive. “It cannot be denied that aside from tourismoriented businesses that have sprouted in Opol, major investments have been located here and more are to come”, added Seno.

Seno is optimistic that considering the unprecedented economic growth and the ever-escalating value of properties in his locality, the realization of cityhood for Opol is not far-fetched. “We are bounded by two cities, Cagayan de Oro and El Salvador, and naturally, Opol would eventually See SENO, page 11

CRIMINOLOGISTS are the law enforcement backbone of the country. They comprise half of the police officers in the Philippines. The rest are detailed in related jobs such those serving in BJMP, Bureau of Fire Protection and being instructors themselves, training young criminologists in

the making. It is thus important for the continuing professionalization of criminologists given their profound role in society. This responsibility lies heavily in the Professional Criminologists Association of the Philippines (PCAP). For more than See CRIMINOLOGY, page 11
