DAVAO CITY – The Davao City Water District (DCWD) is now ready to receive potable water produced out of the Davao City Bulk Water Supply Project (DCBWSP) tapping the surface water of Tamugan River here, an official said Tuesday. In a virtual presser, DCWD spokesperson Jovana Duhaylungsod said most of the critical main pipe projects have been completed. “We are now ready and we consider this project crucial,” Duhaylungsod said. VILLANUEVA, Misamis Oriental--Mayor Jennie Rosalie Uy-Mendez yesterday reminded the public that the curfew ordinance is still in effect from 8-5 in the evening. Mendez said that the local police is regularly conducting patrol to arrest violators of curfew ordinance. Aside from curfew, she said that the local police will also arrest anyone caught violating the health protocols set by the Inter-Agency
Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF). Aside from regular night patrol, Mendez has also organized a Covid-19 marshalls that will arrest violators of health protocols and municipal ordinance. The town’s Covid-19 marshalls comprise the local police, Traffic Management Corp (TMC) headed by retired Police Major Rogelio Labor Jr. and Villanueva Incident Command Center (VICC).
