Surviving Covid-19 crisis
THE role of media in any crisis affecting human society, whether during world wars, or pandemics, is vital and should go on unhampered despite all odds. That is the primordial role of media even in ancient times. In the present times, what hampers the task of media or whatever business that people need, is how to survive, how to go on its operations unimpeded - and that is financial c ap abi l ity. Media operations as well as any business and services, need to pay its workers. Thank God, Mindanao Daily News and BusinessWeek Mindanao has not ceased or even took a short break of its operation as mouth piece of Mindanao’s good news and for the whole nation’s sake for that matter. We continued to rally our bureaus and correspondents to cover news on Covid-19 crisis. We connected with government and private news agencies to share their stories on the fight against Covid-19. We sought means through our business supporters
