ISAMIS ORIENTAL: A total of 1,802 front liners health workers coming from the eight Misamis Oriental provincial hospitals here have already availed of the anti-COVID-19 vaccination, Provincial IATF Chief Jerie Calingasan said Wednesday. Calingasan said that the number represented 93 percent of the targeted number of 1,944 scheduled for the anti-COVID-19 vaccination, including 944 health workers from the private hospitals operating in the province. Of the 944 private health workers, 899 already got the jabs or a total of 95 percent, while a total of 903 front liners of the 1000 health workers of the health workers from the provincial hospitals, or 90.3 percent were already vaccinated. The total number of vaccinated health workers also includes the privately-owned hospitals representing a total

number of 899 front liners or 95 percent of the targeted 944 health workers scheduled for vaccination. Calingasan expressed the optimism that once the second batch of the Aztra Zeneca vaccines will arrive in Misamis Oriental next month, more could avail of vaccine in line with the provincial government’s plan to vaccinate the largest number of people in the province. Since the massive inoculation of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine early March, the provincial IATF has not received any plaints of side effects after receiving the dose.

DAVAO CITY – Curfew and liquor ban will not be lifted soon even after the city government of Davao eased the implementation of some coronavirus disease (COVID-19) quarantine protocols.
