Monday. Pacana, however, said that the proposal to “retroactively” disburse the 2019 Budget is no longer possible because there is already an approved 2020 Budget effective January 2020.

CAGAYAN DE ORO -The local public transport sector led by the National Confederation of Transport Workers’ Union (NCTU) is calling the Land Transportation Office (LTO) to waive restrictions in the issuance of new driver’s licenses. In a poisition paper sent to LTO Regional Director Nelson Manaloto, NCTU Regional Coordinator Joel Gabatan said the issuance of licenses to new driver-applicants must not be coated with so much bureaucracy and red tape amid the economic hardship brought about by the pandemic. The urgent call by NCTU to LTO Regional Director Nelson Manaloto was in response to the concern raised by new driver-applicants particularly in the strict implementation of guidelines for the issuance of licenses to driver-applicants.
