AGAYAN DE ORO CITY – Coordination among Customs intelligence units from different countries have led to discovery and confiscation of illegally imported cigarettes from China estimated to be worth P16 million by the Bureau of Customs’ intelligence service. “We maintain our good relationship with our foreign counterparts, so that we were able to foil smuggling of cigarettes from other countries,” said Oliver Valiente, chief of the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service (CIIS) for Northern Mindanao, in an interview Wednesday, Feb. 2. Valiente said this sharing of information has been a big help for the CIIS as even if the contraband is still in transit, they have already been informed. ILIGAN CITY--The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) clarified that the COVID-19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP) 3 is intended only for the private employees who are displaced due to the retrenchment of their companies or establishments as
