Village chief, 21 others charged in Maguindanao ambush DOT, telco tap content creators for NorMin tourism

AT least 22 persons are facing multiple murder and frustrated multiple murder charges in connection with the February 12 ambush in Guindulungan, Maguindanao that killed 10 people and injured three others. Lt. Anwar Mabatao, chief of Guindulungan Municipal Police Station, said included in the charge sheet was Tamano Mamalapat, village chief of Barangay Kitapok in Datu Saudi Ampatuan town. Mabatao said those charged were positively identified by survivors of the ambush during the police investigation. Iligan pediatricians remind parents to monitor their kids after COVID jabs By LOU ELLEN L. ANTONIO
ILIGAN CITY – During the kick-off of vaccination for children aged 5 to 11 at Adventist Medical Center here, pediatricians reminded the parents to monitor their children weeks after vaccination. Doctors of Kids in Iligan president Judy Ababa-Manginsay said parents should monitor their children one to two weeks after their vaccination so that if there are adverse effects, they can be treated immediately.
“Kinahanglan na magmonitor sa atong anak one to two weeks after vaccination para kung naay mga grabe o serious side effect, matagaan nato ug alibyo,” she said. CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY - The City Health Office (CHO) here has intensified the monitoring of the firstgeneration close contacts of
the second batch of people infected with the Omicron variant of the coronavirus disease 2019. In an online briefer Thursday, CHO medical
officer Dr. Ted Yu Jr. said they have identified 121 first-generation close contacts of the recently reported 32 Omicron cases in the city.
Yu said none of the close contacts, as of the moment, are experiencing Acute Respiratory Illnesses (ARI) or Influenza-Like Illnesses
