CDO logs zero case, first since onset of Covid-19 By NEF LUCZON
CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY-This city recorded no new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) on Monday, a first in 11 months since the first case in the city was recorded last year. CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – With the help of the Department of Agriculture in Region 10 (DA-10), local suppliers managed to send at least 580 live hogs to fill in supplies in Metro Manila markets on Monday.
DA-10 Executive Director Carlene C. Collado said Tuesday the shipment was part of the agency’s initiatives to provide transportation assistance to local hog raisers to stabilize local retail prices of pork in Metro Manila.
President Rodrigo Duterte earlier issued an executive order mandating a price ceiling on select pork and chicken products in the National Capital Region. “This is the first shipment of hogs for Metro Manila after the government
