The contents of the controversial food packs from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), which was turned over to the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) in Cagayan De Oro City. Each food pack consists of six-kilo rice, 10- sachet of Energen, 10 assorted canned goods consisting of Tuna flakes, cheap sardines and cheap 150 grams corned beef. Truckloads of the food packs, estimated to are kept at the covered court of the City South Central School until village chief Janjan Rodriguez, of Nazareth stumbles the hoard and exposes the find to the local media. P 6.8M illegal drugs seized in Bukidnon By CRIS DIAZ Executive Editor
CAMP ALAGAR, Cagayan de Oro City: The police regional special unit here on Saturday nabbed four suspects and seized a P 6.8 million worth of illegal “Shabu” (Methamphetamine Hydrochloride) in a buy bust operation in Bukidnon. CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY Mayor Oscar S. Moreno hit back at the critics of his administration, claiming they’re a ‘bunch of attack dogs’ of his political rivals and supporters of the opposition. Moreno, during a press briefing, has maintained that all these criticisms and bashing against him on mainstream and social media, are all part of being a leader to this booming city. “Ato nalang na sila sabton Cel (referring to CIO chief Maricel Casino-Rivera) kay mao mana ila panginabuhi,” City Mayor Moreno said, adding that many of these critics of his administration are supporters of the opposition.
