DOH: COVID-19 vaccine still on clinical trials

Locally transmitted coronavirus tallies eight deaths in Cag. De Oro By CRIS DIAZ Executive Editor

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY: A 73-year-old woman died of COVID-19 here, bringing the total number of COVID-19 related deaths in this premier capital to eight, health officials said Wednesday last week. The woman, a resident in Zone 10, Upper Village of Carmen, was reported as another case of a “locally transmitted” COVID-19 virus admitted to the J.R. Borja General Hospital (JR-

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY: A lawmaker on Wednesday said that the P 162 billion fund, tagged as “Bayanihan 2” (Recovered as One) intends to resuscitate the country’s economy hammered to its lowest by the COVID-19 pandemic. Rep. Rufus Rodriguez, of Cagayan De Oro City’s Second Congressional District, said that P 51 billion would be utilized to infuse capital on government banks to provide loans at low interests to businessmen.
