Briefly SME’s growth MALAYBALAY City -- Twelve Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Roving Academy were already conducted in Bukidnon as Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) continued its intensified campaign on “Gabay Negosyo sa Pagasenso” to promote growth of SMEs. SME Roving Academy (SMERA) will teach entrepreneurs the essentials of start-up and capability building, market awareness, market readiness, export readiness, export market entry, export sustainability, and export expansion, said Ermedio J. Abang, provincial director of DTI here. “It involves several learning stages to bring to the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) the learning modules designed to promote entrepreneurship, develop key competencies in searching opportunities, product development, marketing, finance, and ways to increase productivity and efficiency,” he said.

Anti-carnapping law CAGAYAN de Oro City Vice Mayor Caesar Ian E. Acenas referred to the City Council committee on police, fire and public safety chaired by Councilor Ramon Tabor for appropriate action, the move to strictly implement the AntiCarnapping and Anti-Fencing Law in Cagayan de Oro City. This is in response to the letter of PS/Supt. Felixberto Marudo Castillo, regional chief of the RHPU-10, who said Mindanao has become the dumping point of carnapped vehicles. According to the RHPU head, some display centers do not have proper documents that will show the sources of units being sold. He said there are also reports of tampering of chassis and engine numbers of vehicles.

Lawmakers asked to hasten passage of BBL M INDANAO stakeholders are urging Congress to fast-track the passage of the Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL) to legalize the establishment of the Bangsamoro region – a key solution to end the decades-long armed conflict and for the Bangsamoro people to regain their political power over their ancestral lands in southern Philippines.

Leaders in Mindanao made the call after it was announced that President Benigno S.
