Poor wifi probe IN response to complaints regarding the failure of telecommunication companies to deliver fast internet services, the Cagayan de Oro City Council will invite representatives of the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) and all internet providers in the city for discussions on the matter. This was brought up by City Councilor Ramon G. Tabor in his special report during the regular session yesterday. Tabor said the advanced technology has benefited businessmen and all users and has become advantageous to hotels and malls that offer free wifi connections. “If you recall, grabe kaayong advertisements sa mga nagkalain-laing mga hotels, malls, establishments nga libre ang wifi. There are also different telecommunications who advertise to the public nga kining ilang internet connection pila ni ka gigabytes, the fastest, and so on and so forth, which our people, thinking nga tinuod siguro paspas, subscribe, only to find out nga hinay man diay,” he said.
