Briefly Safety seal DAVAO City– The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) on Thursday urged all establishments to apply for a safety seal to entice more consumers. In a statement, DTI 11 (Davao region) Director Ma. Belenda Ambi said the Safety Seal Certification Program would benefit both the consumers and establishments. “With the Safety Seal, the consumers are assured that the shops or stores they are visiting are compliant with the government’s guidelines. As a result, the establishments carrying such a certification would gain the public’s confidence. It must be noted, though, that they need to meet certain requirements first before getting a Safety Seal,” Ambi said.
