Guest of the ticketed event enjoyed exciting entertainment, unlimited drinks and gourmet hors d’oeuvres as well as the opportunity to network face-to-face with some of the city’s best and brightest celebrity entrepreneurs. Throughout the evening attendees met one-on-one with the likes of Passion PR’s Ilene Lieber, Trend Studios’ Matt Bengtson, Red Carpet Monday’s Ryan Deming and 11 other young Orlando professionals. All proceeds of the event benefited Brides Against Breast Cancer and went towards free support programs for families and individuals who have been affected by cancer. From November 14th-16th, Central Florida’s makeup enthusiast came together for the largest Pro-only beauty event in the Sunshine State. The Makeup Show Orlando 2014 allowed more than 3,000 attendees to gather together with the beauty, fashion and hair communities for two days dedicated to artistry, networking, inspiration and education. Highlights of the event included more than 50 seminars, forums and hands-on workshops as well as over 100 professional and prestigious makeup and skin care brands. Makeup Show Orlando 2014 proved to be more than just a successful event, it was truly a celebration of the art of makeup! From November 15th-23rd, one of Central Florida’s favorite holiday events returned to the Orlando Museum of Art. For 9 magical days, the 28th Annual Festival of Trees brought the Orlando Museum of Art to life with the sights, sounds, smells and decorations of the holiday season. The event showcased exquisite wreaths, gingerbread creations from local businesses and awe-inspiring fully decorated designer Christmas trees in every size from tabletop displays to 9 feet tall. Much to the delight of all, every decoration was even available for purchase along with stunning holiday vignettes! Visitors at the festival also enjoyed daily entertainment and visits to the Holiday Boutique, Festival Café, Deck the Halls, Gingerbread Village and many other areas filled with timeless holiday

traditions. From exciting collections of holiday displays to lovely gifts and so much more, the Festival of Trees was an event perfect for the whole family and had visitors of all ages embracing the spirit of the holiday season. From November 20th-22nd—just in time for the Holiday season! —Artegon Marketplace Orlando invited the community to attend the grand opening of its 1.1 million-square-foot shopping attraction and artisan marketplace in the heart of Orlando’s tourism district on International Drive. Located in the former Festival Bay Mall, Artegon Marketplace Orlando is a new shopping concept for the area inspired by such famous marketplaces as Seattle’s Pike Place, Boston’s Faneuil Hall, New York’s Chelsea Market and the London Flower Market. The celebration began with a ribboncutting ceremony featuring Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and other dignitaries representing the region’s tourism and hospitality industries. The grand opening festivities continued through Nov. 22 with live entertainment ranging from amazing African acrobats to a memorable musical treat by the Blues Brothers. Guests of the grand opening were among the first to experience Artegon’s expansive “Sky Trail” ropes course and collection of 165 artisanal shops and stores featuring locally sourced products and services. The forecast is in and it’s “Now Snowing Nightly” in Florida! It’s one of Orlando’s most beloved holiday traditions and last month it came early to the City Beautiful as select guests came together on November 22nd for a media preview of the 16th Annual Now Snowing event at Celebration Town Center. Every winter, Celebration is transformed into a month long winter wonderland featuring strolling Charles Dickens Carolers, community performers, horse drawn carriages, the Celebration Express train, nightly snowfall and more! Guest of the VIP preview event enjoyed free ice skating, free rides on the attractions and of course a free photo op with Mr. Clause. How does Celebration bring nightly snow to the sunshine state? Only one way to find out! Snowfall and other holiday fun happens at 6, 7, 8 and 9 PM every night through December 31st at Celebration Town Center. Know of a Not-To-Be Missed Event? Do Tell!
