WS Workshop has opened the doors to stunning life essentials in Fortitude Valley. AFTER 20 YEARS in the industry, award-winning interior design firm Wrightson Stewart has opened a concept store. Acclaimed designers Ian Wrightson and Steven Stewart started out designing kitchens, but have since expanded their horizons. In 2013, they created Brisbane brand WS Workshop with a distinct aesthetic; now, three years later, it has become a physical store. WS Workshop goes above and beyond the usual clothing and homewares, with an offering of life essentials for its customers. The unique concept of WS Workshop strives to celebrate Brisbane creation, with a strong emphasis on local manufacturing. “As a city, Brisbane has such a wonderful community of manufacturers and craftspeople that operate here, and it has been stylemagazines.com.au
the backbone of our concept,” Ian says. “The WS Workshop range presents designs refined to their simplest and most practical forms, with a strong emphasis on functionality and comfort.” While the range has been expanded, WS Workshop still offers custom-made kitchens that are both functional and beautifully crafted. With bespoke design service, these kitchens suit not just the needs of their clients but also the size of their space. “In every home, the kitchen becomes the backdrop to life; a place of ritual, comfort and conversation,” Ian says.
