GAIN LIFE CHANGING

QUALIFICATIONS WITH FLEXIBLE LEARNING There’s a brilliant opportunity to upskill and gain valuable qualifications that can improve your job prospects and help you to climb the career ladder at this pivotal time. Best of all, you get to name the time and place as you take up flexible learning options designed to work around your schedule and meet your needs.

There’s a huge degree of autonomy and freedom when doing a course – an aspect that’s particularly attractive to those already in employment or those with busy family lives. The nature of flexible learning has also proven to be so valuable in this post-lockdown world where people might feel it’s safer and more effective upskilling from home depending on the circumstances at the time.

Hopwood Hall College is offering people aged 19+ the chance to complete free* online and part-time courses as it further establishes itself as a hub for e-learning in the community. There’s still time to browse the subjects as enrolment remains open to the public, so now is a great time to choose the option that will open the most doors to you. There are a wide variety of fields to choose from, with the pathways divided between personal and professional development. You can even earn a coveted nationally recognised Level 2 qualification to boost your CV. Just some of the subjects that can enhance your employability include ‘Principles of Business Administration’, ‘Creating a Business Start-Up’ and ‘Digital Skills for Work’. Hopwood Hall College has campuses in Rochdale and Middleton, but the flexible learning options mean that the bulk of your chosen course can be completed at home and on your own timescale. You will still be assigned an assessor and provided with all the materials you need, as well as have contact with a tutor who’ll be on hand to offer additional help and support if required.

Rochdale Campus Julia Heap, Principal and CEO of Hopwood Hall College, said: “Flexible learning is a fantastic way to move one step closer to your dream job and do so on your own terms. “The qualification you earn can be just the thing to improve your career prospects and make you stand out from other candidates in a crowded job market. “I’d like to encourage as many people as possible to choose a course and enrol while there’s still time to take advantage of this amazing opportunity.” For more information and to apply, simply email FlexibleLearning@hopwood. ac.uk.
